Bluemoon Comforts — Hotel in Bengaluru

Access:||Finding the guesthouse was a bit of a challenge. Being new to Bangalore and despite using google maps I went around in circles at the last bit of the journey. The hotel staff were helpful but language was a challenge. All-in-all they were able to direct me after a few failed attempts. ||||Parking:||The guesthouse has no parking space at all. ||||Location:||The guesthouse is located in a quiet residential area in close proximity to a marketplace with some good eating joints. Shopping also isnt much of a hassle and you can walk to the marketplace from the guesthouse if you don't feel like driving.||The Front desk:||||The Room, Staff & Services:||My room was called the Sapphire, this is one thing about this guesthouse that I absolutely loved. They have a different name for every room. My room was small but for a single person it was sufficient. The room has a closet, television with a decent cable (if you want to watch tv that is). The bed was comfortable (extra pillow was provided without any hassle), the linen was clean, air conditioner was running and taps and flush were working. The bathroom was compact and reasonably clean, it has a bathtub which was not usuable. ||||The staff were friendly, efficient and quick. ||||Food & Room Service:||The complimentary breakfast provided was good. I'm not certain whether they provide any other meals, I didn't really order or look for a restaurant within the guesthouse to be honest.||||Overall:||On the whole, the Blue Moon Comforts is an awesome guesthouse within its range, infact even in comparision to some of the pricier ones out there. The problem started from locating the hotel till the complete stay.||Our Ola driver could not locate the hotel in spite of navigation on. So even if you are in Koramangla area and wish to walk around in the locality. You should better avoid it else you will land up making several rounds to locate the hotel or finally hiring an auto to reach to your hotel.||The receptionist does not seems to have any training. He took enough time to get the register filled up and issue me a money receipt for the advance I was paying.||They don’t have a lift, so you have to climb up. Although your luggage will be carried up by hotel staff, but they will take time.||The AC was not working. I could not call reception to complain about this as intercom was also not working. When in the morning I complained about it, the fellow started convincing me that it is alright.||The so called complimentary breakfast, which they serve in the room is a veg sandwich and tea. First tea was served. Two cups of one design and one of other design. One cup was cracked. By the time they served sandwich, tea was cold. We were three so they served three sandwiches. The plates in which they served sandwiches were of different design. ||The towels were not worth using. ||TV works at its own wish. No free wifi. You have to pay extra for that. This hotel is really not for stay. The staff of this hotel.is not coperative. They dont know how to treat their guest. They don't even greet you or give u a smile when ever you cros upon upon them . When i reached the hotel no one is their to pick my luggage to the room. The most ridiculous thing is that the staff who does room services carries the bucket contain the brushes to clean the toilet , with that they even carry the complimentry drinking water bottles. How can someone conscious allows to drink the water from that water bottle. I am attaching the picture with this review. Even the hotel was not clean the toilet of the room is dirty. More over the reception area. The service of the staff of the hotel is poor. More over whn i check in for 4 days our TV was not at all working. I asked them daily to make it work but none of them care. The TV was in wirking condition on 5 day but the chnnels was not there. I will not prefer to anyone for this hotel l. It should be shut down.
