Having ordered in from this place a number of times, I quite like their breakfast. So I finally decided to visit this place with a friend last month. As usual the place was packed. And while the ambience was nice and homey, we were left shocked and disappointed with the rest. The first thing I noticed were, all the servers looked overwhelmed and irritated. We ordered coffee and some fries as neither of us were hungry. My cold coffee was pretty basic. But, we didn't mind as we were there to catch up. However, since the place was crowded, the servers wanted us out as soon as possible. So 30 mins in, my friend ordered one more coffee for himself. But after about 15 mins, when he was only halfway into his coffee, we were rudely interrupted by our server, who bluntly asked us to leave as there were people waiting. I was taken aback by his rude tone and lack of etiquette. Now, we are not unreasonable people, and we do understand a packed house can be stressful for the staff, but this is no way to treat paying customers. And, we would never have ignored the server's ask, had he put it across as a polite request instead of a rude demand. We were made to feel unwelcome and insulted.
