Reason for 5 stars. Taste.- we ordered some bharwan mushrooms, kadhai panner and daal. All three dishes had very little oil and good masala with green chillies. Along with that we took lacha parantha which was served with coriander ghee which made it even taste better. All the dishes were far better than what we expected and were served in quick succession. Price - when I went on 23/12/2023 they charged 30 rs for lacha parantha, which in my opinion was far less than what anyone pays for the same bread in any restaurant Same goes for dishes as well, food was so cheap that it made me doubt the quality and taste but was later astonished by how good it was. Service and atmosphere - champak being a small newly opened restaurant the atmosphere is simple and satisfying, sometimes you just don't want a lot of noises and prefer it calm, while the service is spectacular, 10-15 mins is the max time we waited for anything. I think this might be one of the best North Indian restaurants in kormangala, if not in...

In our family we typically eat dinner early and at 7:30 pm we were the only guests in the place yet the service took slightly longer. But once served, everything we ordered was damn good. Probably mix veg pakoda were a tad bit more oily but not compromising on the taste. Chicken banno kebab were soft juicy and sumptuously tasty. Litti chokha was surely one of the best you can find in Bangalore. and the hero of the day champaran chicken was rightly spicy with bursts of balanced flavours and very soft tender chicken. Tawa rotis were homelike and with Laal maas gravy is just too good and finger licking.
I will surely recommend this place to everyone and anyone who likes to cherish authentic North Indian flavours to try visit at least once.

So I went in with my parents based on Google reviews thinking this was a posh place. It's not. It's a friendly local eatery, so keep that in mind.
That being said though, the good was EXCELLENT. They serve Bihari cuisine, and the litti chokha was perfect, and the handi chicken was different from Punjabi or Hyderabadi style. They crack the bones into the gravy, which means that the marrow cooks down, giving it a deep savory flavour, along with heavy spices.
The staff were good and the service was prompt. They served the food quickly. I think it just took 10 minutes or so. Very very reasonably priced too and very generous portions.
Definitely try this place out for delivery if you live near Koramangala. It's something different from regular "North...
