Green's Residency — Hotel in Bengaluru

Ok let's go with the positives first. The room looked decent upon first appearance though it was obvious that it was a budget hotel. The bed was decent and looked a bit inviting. First appearance wise, this room was as good as it gets.

We were given a dingy room in the second floor with no windows. But that was the least of our worries.

The toilet was very unclean. The wash basin had no pipe connecting the basin to the drain. As a result the water from the wash basin would splash all over the floor. The flush tank was not working. The water had been filled in the tank to make it look like it was working. But it wasn't getting replenished after the first use. Also, there was half a foot long living worm in the bath room that was crawling here and there.

People can ask what to expect from a budget room. I would simply say that the competitors provide a much better experience for a slightly higher price point (the name sounds like a way of calling someone, and a boomerang style children's play toy). I am giving 2 stars purely because of the price of the room.

Rooms need a lot of renovation. Keeping a mosquito bat is handy as there r lot of mosquitos. Stayed in Room no 103. The bathroom is at a height and a bit tricky if u want to go inside. The tap and the bucket r placed just next to the commode (WC) either u use the WC or fill the bucket for hot water between 6 AM & 10 AM not both, no ways. The rooms r basic with LCD TV in double rooms but the best part was the Manager Mr Nateshan. He was very helpful and is ever smiling and cheerful. Also the hotel is in a convenient location in Kalasipalayam if u need to travel by bus. Basic rooms single start from 400 and double starts from 500. The hotel also has a sister concern next door forget the name but also starts with Green's... Worth ur stay if for a short duration...

This is a cheap hotel what can you expect from it? Never recommend to visit with your family, for only getting fresh if you want so for 2 to 3 hrs and if you are ready to pay 500-600 then only visit this place. Hotel is on main road, no restaurant, No hot water supply in rooms, you have to carry water from outside, feel like you are staying in a hostel, terrible. Only for Staff one star, otherwise zero rated hotel. Finally don't expect so much from such hotel. Never...
