Gopal Ji Confectioners — Restaurant in Chandigarh

The place is a small cute joint in the inner market of Sec 35. The ambience is good, the food is amazing, although you won't find a place to sit and enjoy. People mostly prefer to drive down and eat in their vehicles. It's always too crowded after 5-6 pm but the crowd is always loud, cheerful and fun because it mostly consists of students or families.

The food will always be worth the wait, the quality is top notch - I've been here quite a few times, crowded as well as non, but the quality of service never fluctuates. If you find a queue or a crowd, always wait, the food will be worth the wait.

The speciality, if you're visiting once, a must try, is the cheese corn patty. The place is quite famous for those, but only try if you love corn. Love. Not like. It will satisfy all your aesthetic as well digestive needs. The range of snacks and domestic foods is also very tasty and everything is always well priced. It's very pocket friendly and money won't be an issue no matter what you try here.

Last month I was just talking about random places to eat around 35 Sector then one of my friend told me about gopal ji confectioners.

He said everyone know about this delicious confectionery so i thought i have to surely try this out asap.

So now i have visited more than 5 times to this confectionery in last 30 days. I was amazed after seeing number of options they have for you.

Prices are very reasonable for such finger licking food.

Smoke cheese patty : 5 🌟 Make sure you don't go home without having smoke cheese patty there because every bite is worth. After taking first bite my whole perception was changed for patty world.

Grilled burgers : 4 🌟 You want to satiate your burger craving without spending a lot of money then choose any grilled burger.

White sauce pasta : 4 🌟 White sauce pasta was also good in taste. The creamy flavour will tingle your taste buds.

Rajmah chawal : 4 🌟 Rajmah chawal is dish which hardly disappoint anyone because it is easy to make it. I am happy that they provide enough quantity with great taste at so reasonable prices.

Delivery time : 2 🌟 Sometimes they take 45 mins to deliver for a single patty that is...

I am changing my review especially after last couple of bad experiences. I have noticed that when you ask them to pack your food, may be they pack either the one's that were cooked long time ago or left over from orders that were cancelled or weren't picked. On Tuesday night, I ordered cheese corn patty and Nacho salad and it was awful. The salad was smelling badly, I couldn't notice it in the beginning but with few bites of the salad and I could feel that it is not fresh.

Worse, it caused food poisoning and spoiled the next couple of days, continuous loose motions followed by fever and fatigue.

I have had similar experience before but I thought maybe it will not repeat again because I have been going to this shop for many years now.

Last experience was with Rajmah Chawal and they smelled badly too. I returned the box, that's what I should have done this time too but it was too late as they were closed. I will skip my visit now onwards, can't end up paying for food and medicine and...
