Kaushal Palace Hotel — Hotel in Delhi

When I arrived first, I got a small, dark room on ground level, the it took 30 minutes for the stuff to get me hot shower working. The keys of the room are general electric switches, which is a common solution in hotels. The room have separate switches for the boilers for hot water, which is usual in India. But in this hotel they switch off AC and hot water extra, centrally, in some electric switch-boxes at the reception. I doubt this is needed or makes sense, but it is most importantly unacceptable that I need to call reception for hot water or AC. But even worse, the hotel or the stuff does not even tell you this policy. Stuff does not speak English, except the guy at the reception, but even he did not care to explain how things work. 2 days of unneeded quarrels. The district is not very good, there is not even light in the small street of the hotel. I am shocked, how can this hotel have so good ratings. I have chosen this hotel exactly because of the ratings. The hotel was previously named Bombay Palace, maybe they avoid bad ratings by...

We needed a room to stay one night.... firstly the attitude of the receptionist and service guys were not at all hospitable... He was quite rude and was not helping us at all..and then the room was not clean enough.... ac was not cooling the room properly ,even when we left the room for shopping, they cut the power of ac and our room was very hot when we came back in delhi's humid weather .... We had no glasses in the room,when asked... reply was ' the previous customer broke the glasses and was not their responsibility' . Soap was not provided either. Food delivery was late...wifi was not available during our stay.. we will hardly recommend this hotel to stay...awful...

I would like to recommend this place to everybody visiting delhi nd looking for a hotel to stay in pahadganj. This is a really good place to stay if you are looking for one. You can book it from some site or just walk in nd directly ask for a room. The manager was so polite nd friendly. It is located near the main market, so it won't be difficult to find this place. The room was not big but was just enough to spend the night. The AC was working and was so powerful. There was wifi, lift, AC, TV, most of the basic things one might need to stay. Pro hack: if you are good at conversion then you can get this place at a lesser price than the online...
