OYO Flagship Delhi Empire — Hotel in Delhi

I stayed at Delhi Empire Hotel recently, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, showing no regard for guests' comfort. The air conditioning in my room was non-functional, making it extremely uncomfortable, especially in Delhi's hot weather. The bathroom was filthy, with obvious signs of neglect and poor cleaning standards. To top it off, the waste pipe of the basin was broken, adding to the overall unpleasantness of the stay.

What shocked me the most was the staff's response when I expressed my dissatisfaction. They actually challenged me, saying that if I posted a bad review on Oyo (the booking platform), they would have it changed to a 5-star review with the help of Oyo staff. This blatant attempt at manipulating reviews shows a complete lack of integrity and professionalism. I would strongly advise against staying at Delhi Empire Hotel, as my experience was nothing short of a nightmare.

In conclusion, my stay at Delhi Empire Hotel was a complete disaster. From the rude staff to the non-working AC, dirty bathroom, and broken waste pipe, there was nothing positive about my experience. This hotel is clearly cheating its customers. I booked through OYO, and everything was confirmed. However, when I visited the property, they asked for more money and justified it as GST. When I asked for the bill, they started shouting, and the owner misbehaved with me, saying they don't care about OYO and I can call them and do whatever I want. All this conversation happened because I asked for the bill, but they didn't give it to me. I called the OYO customer care and I confirmed with the OYO team, the OYO price is final, and there is no need to pay extra. The OYO customer care team contacted the owner, and at that time, the owner changed the story. Instead of GST, he said that I requested a room upgrade, which is why there were extra charges. However, this is a clear lie, as I did not make any such request. Moreover, the room was in a really bad condition, and it was not clean at all.

I advise others not to believe the pictures that they send or show on the OYO app. These hotel people's are frauds, and i never book this hotel again. I am extremely disappointed with their service, and I recommend that if you want good service, you should find...

NOT RECOMMENDED, HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. They have posted photo of different room online. When you arrive they show u a different room that you won't prefer to take. Then they show u the actual room in price higher than that you saw online. We accidentally broken room key card they asked us to pay ₹4000 and tried to fool us by saying that they have to change whole security system ... Person who talked us during booking didn't respond phone calls regarding this. Luckily I had a friend working in hotels.. I asked him about same he guided me. Staff's behaviour was not good. AC, TV was not working. Later we got to know they turn off AC from reception. Each and every guest there had some issue. They take advance payment then show their true colors.
