HOTEL HOLISTON — Hotel in Devbhumi Dwarka

The uniqueness of this hotel was that we got a large room with 2 king sized beds and a sofa. Albeit the pricing was through the roof!! Probably for the long weekend and holiday rush. 26k for a double room for 2 nights without breakfast in an unbranded hotel was hard to digest ! Very nicely done rooms and interiors. Rooms, washroom and bed and bath linen were clean and welcoming. Beds were comfortable. Rooms views are ok, blend of village like locality and tall towers in the long view. Alert ⚠️ The Hotel Restaurant is NON-FUNCTIONAL since last 2 months, owing to some LPG gas tank leak. The smell still hovers in the lift lobby area. So no food is available and you would need a vehicle to go to nearby restaurants. The Kamat restaurant in VITS is always full and they give last priority to outside guests. We were told of a 2 hour waiting. Hence moved to a lovely restaurant called as New Sharanam about a km away.

The entrance road leading to the hotel is rough, unpaved and dusty and is from the front side only from main road. Google showed is entry at the back and we had to reroute.

Stay was pleasant and overall would recommend this hotel for a better price point (around 3.5 to 4k per room per night)- anything above is peak pricing.

Staff were courteous and very very helpful. Special mention here of Nikhil Upadhyay and his team for the memorable, honest and ever so helpful for going out of the way to help me. I actually forgot my gold chain in the room and by the time, i was called by Nikhil to inform me about it which they found while room cleaning post our checkout - We were already 200kms away near Rajkot. Nikhil took the initiative well, calmed my anxiety and arranged for the chain to be couriered to my home. It reached me the very next day we reached home, neatly packed in multiple packing to hide the precious contents. Kudos to Nikhil and...

Horrible.. Poor service..My bill no 131 on 25th feb 2023.. We stayed from 13th to 24th feb.. Room no 205 . (Becareful with other fake reviews who gave 5/5 ratings). Handle ur bags with ur own.. They will not help you in handling of the bags.. Even u have to open hotel's gate by ur own..

They are not accepting credit cards.. Be ready with cash/gpay/online transfer..

Very very costly and poorly trained resturant people..but yes food taste was good.. Important: Check ur bills three times.. I found mistakes in all the three times.. they have not added my copany's name in bill..

Room was new and good and they helped me to get one room in emergency for one day.. But other service was like one star hotel only..

Choose other hotel with better services.

Now after one month they r replying on google that this comment is from competitors.. Wow so good response.. I am a owner of my company and frequently visiting Tata chemicals.. Not from any of other hotel person... Maulik Shah CIH (google kar le bhai mera profile aa jayega).

We stayed for 2 nights this week Good: Room was spacious and clean ⁠Limited options from menu though menu was extensive. Food taste was good Staff was courteous but not staffed adequate

Bad: No hot water during our entire stay. Was asked to leave taps on for minutes on and still the best we got was Luke warm water during our entire stay ⁠Didn’t provide proper linen like towels or door mats ⁠Kettle was there but coffee/tea sachets weren’t provided despite charging about 8K per day. Answer was no when asked for them ⁠Breakfast had very limited options and for a pax of 3 and another table of 6 in entire hotel , they took over an hour to serve paratha and bread toast, wasting our day planning ⁠when tried to order coffee in the morning to room at 7am, we were told no milk and will take 30minutes. Finally got coffee with split milk 😞 ⁠gave laundry for service and was promised to send to room but had to follow up multiple times to get it delivered Insisted on immediate cash payments for food and laundry which should be added to room bill for ease

Overall, very disappointed with our stay despite paying as close to a star hotel as it can get with average facilities and mediocre service. Don’t recommend for any family vacation or business trip.
