Hotel Holiday Icon — Hotel in Devbhumi Dwarka

I stayed in two double rooms from 11-14 Feb 2025, both of which were very spacious and clean. Room service was excellent, and the staff was polite, helpful, and prompt in fulfilling all my requests. No complimentary drinks provided as mentioned in description of goibibo from where the booking was done.

The reason I am giving only 4 stars for the room is that one of the rooms had a few issues. The bathroom door couldn't be locked from the inside, the AC was dirty and wasn't cooling properly, and the TV remote was not working. However, the housekeeping team promptly cleaned the AC when I informed them, which was great. They also fixed the flush issue. Regarding the bathroom door, they attempted to fix it but couldn't, so they offered a different room. However, since it was on a different floor and we had booked two rooms together, we chose to stay in the same room. Additionally, one of the rooms had a few patches on the wall, but that wasn't a major concern.

Location-wise, the hotel is situated right at Rabari Gate, which serves as a drop-off point for many buses. It is 1.7 km from Dwarka railway station, 1 km from Dwarkadhish Temple, 1.6 km from Rukmani Temple, and 12 km from Shivrajpur Beach. You can even see the temple's flag from the windows, which is a nice touch.

Upon checkout, the staff helped load all our luggage onto the vehicle but refused to accept anything in return, which was a kind and thoughtful gesture.

One important point to note: If you need to board a train at night, be prepared to pay double for transportation or arrange it in advance, as there are very few autos available at night. However, during the day, transportation is not an issue.
