The rooms were very clean and well equipped. We had complementary breakfast and dinner and the buffet was good. The restaurant had good service.
The location is good since it’s walkable distance to the Dwarkadish temple. Since it’s located close to the highway it’s also fairly easy to go to byet dwarka.
The housekeeping and the reception service was poor. We had booked through IRCTC. They could not find our reservation in the beginning and instead of contacting IRCTC themselves, we had to contact our booking manager to confirm the booking with them. At night we had them to send housekeeping to check the WiFi connection in our room and that never came. On our way out, we had called the reception to inform them about our check out. Generally every hotel we have stayed at send housekeeping to take the luggage and check the rooms during check out. That never came and we got delayed. When we went down to submit the key and leave they said we haven’t paid and we have to pay again. They should have contacted IRCTC to confirm the payment which they did not. So we had to do it and finally they realised it’s done. I think there is a miscommunication between this hotel and the booking services. But then it’s the responsibility of the reception manager to take care of such communication gap and not put it on the customers.
I was surprised with this kind of service since we had stayed in Hotel Regenta in Bhuj and that was a...
Read moreEnjoyed the stay here and will cherish the memory. Pure veg restaurant. Special mention of Mr Umesh Thakur who tried his best within his capacity to make our food memorable. Being health conscious we prefer to eat clean, very few choices were available at breakfast buffet. He ensured saute vegetables, cut fruits and was customer centric. Mr Jha who was at reception had given us Deluxe room despite our booking of premier room. When asked have u given premium room? He said, both are same mam and had given us Deluxe room. Later at 10 PM we changed the room and he apologized. He should not repeat such behaviour with other customers. Housekeeping was good and courteous. Reception and reservation need special training. They are not aware of nearby attractions and not able to guide but it will be icing on cake if they provide basic info. There are lot of guest fighting at reservation and reception who made online booking but failed to get the room. If you are doing booking via online site then confirm with the hotel first. Carry your own shower cap, hotel's shower cap will only cover half of ur head. It's good chain, my first experience. It's level is one level below Sayaji, Novotel, Fern. Remember that and then set your...
Read moreAs a frequent Regenta guest, I am shocked by the lack of basic cleanliness at this 5-month-old property. Rooms weren’t vacuumed, with visible hair and paan stains on floor and wall. Bathrooms had stains, lift has not been cleaned since installation, and corridors remained poorly lit in the evening, giving a gloomy feel. It’s clear that cleaning protocols and staff training need urgent attention. A hotel chain of this stature must prioritize hygiene.
We were given an upgrade as the allocated room hadn't been cleaned from the previous stay but there was no improvement in the upgraded room either. When complained, the front desk wasn't sure if the allocated room was cleaned and were debating about it in front of me. Truly absurd. The tattooed Bell boy stated that his tenure was just a month and doesn't know anything yet.
The only positive was the courteous restaurant staff. Sadly, I can’t recommend this property. For a clean and refined stay near the Dwarkadish Temple, Lemon Tree Premier is a far better option and their dining...
