Hotel Manvin's, Panjim, Goa — Hotel in Goa Island

I had an extremely distressing experience at Hotel Manvins that I feel compelled to share. As a solo female traveler, I chose this hotel hoping for a safe and comfortable stay, but it turned out to be anything but that.

First and foremost, the staff exhibited highly disrespectful and negative behavior throughout my stay. They were incredibly egoistic and looked down on me, treating me as if I was staying in the room for free. When I decided to write an honest review online detailing these issues, I was met with an even more alarming response. VAZ, the caretaker, threatened me to delete my review.

The incident I reported in my earlier review involved one of the staff members knocking on my door later in the day with such force and speaking to me in an intimidating and demeaning manner. This experience was incredibly frightening and made me feel unsafe.

This kind of behavior is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable in the hospitality industry. I strongly advise anyone, especially solo female travelers, to avoid Hotel Manvins. Safety and respect are paramount, and unfortunately, this hotel failed miserably in providing either. FURTHERMORE I DUNNO WHERE THE EGO OF THE CARE TAKER VAZ AND HIS STAFF COMES FROM TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE HORRIBLE ROOMS AND SERVICES THEY HAVE TO OFFER. I WOULD ADVICE ANYONE IRRESPECTIVE OF THE GENDER TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR JOY OF VACATION...

We had a package trip with Hotel Manvin's for 4N/5D. The package trip was well organised & in affordable range. The amenities & services which included breakfast , dinner , local sightseeing for 2 days (North and South Goa), pick up and drop from airport was pleasant to say the least. While our day begun with sumptuous breakfast that included tasty dishes like Poha , Upma , Aloo Paratha ,Poori Sabji, Omlette and boiled eggs (on request), our day ended with a heart contended dinner which comprised of tasty delicacies. The staff at Manvin's Panjim was very hospitable , coordial and efficient.The location of the hotel is a big plus point since it is located at the heart of Panjim city alongside River Mandovi.The view of the river and city from the room is breathtaking. We have gathered a lot of wonderful memories from the trip and a big contribution goes to our stay at Manvin's. We found the hotel via Oyo and since we were very near to it, we decided to check out the rooms in person before confirming the booking. Once we did check the rooms, we decided to go ahead with the booking but the manager asked us not to make the payment as he was having some argument with Oyo regarding the low prices they were offering. This was a very unprofessional behaviour from the team. Regarding the Hotel, it is located near the Cruise Casinos in near the market area. The rooms were clean with basic amenities. We had taken the rooms with breakfast which was a disappointment. Despite of having prepaid for the breakfast we decided to skip the breakfast. While checking out, the receptionist asked me to give a five star rating in front of her to ensure no one gives a low rating.
