Baga Beach Sunset — Hotel in Goa

A big No !! I booked the hotel based on the comments and reviews from the Google / booking.com but they turned out to be paid reviews. The only thing that's good about this hotel is the location, it's on the beach. But I would highly suggest taking another hotel with minimum walking to the beach. This hotel has no proper management, neither they have any reception nor they provide any amenities. It's just a room with glass windows and nothing. The ACs installed are not even working and power backup is not available. On Booking.com they have mentioned multiple things but you are not going to get any of those items, they will keep on saying that they have ordered it and it will be delivered soon. Their caretaker named Satendar is so arrogant, if you complain or ask anything from him, he's going to tell you to go check with the guy you booked the hotel with (in our case it was Rahul). We kept on complaining and also decided to check out the room the very next day and we were okay with the charges they are going to deduct from our full payment (yeah they ask for full payment the first day itself), but they said we do not refund anything as per the policy we have listed on booking.com. What a joke ? They don't provide anything listed on booking.com but they follow the policies. There is no ventilation in the room or in the bathroom which becomes mandatory near the beach since there is a lot of humidity. There is no storage provided in the room, forget about keeping your clothes in the almirah. There is no housekeeping. We stayed for almost 3 days and nobody cared to change the sheets or...

I booked it for 4 days from booking.com because I trusted the reviews I read, but don't be mistaken people who have given 5-star ratings. Don't judge the property by the pictures and reviews posted on booking.com. There are no sea view balcony rooms on this property, in fact there is no balcony in any room. The rooms are very bad, very small size, the furniture is very bad, the water had a foul smell and the area also smells like rotten fish because of the restaurant kitchen just behind the building. If you call at the property, the manager will ask you to pay some booking amount which you should not because that is not refundable, you can just go and directly pay at the property. Do check the rooms before paying never pay any advance. The pictures which they have posted are from the terrace and not from the rooms. There are other better guest houses and hotels nearby where you can get the rooms with sea view easily. Don't waste your money on this. The only good thing was that it is close to baga beach.
