Beach Walk Resort — Hotel in Goa

I had an overall okay experience, although I booked an executive room for ₹2,100 through Agoda's discounted price, while the owner charges ₹2,500 for the same room, which didn't seem worth it. The washrooms in the executive rooms were not good and had a foul smell. However, the rest of the room was okay, and the AC was working fine. No toiletries were provided. If you're on a tight budget, you can book the executive rooms, but I would suggest opting for the cottages at ₹3,000 instead. While the cottages have large glass windows with curtains and no grills, which raised some security concerns, it was safe overall.

Pros:

The resort is a 2-minute walk from the less-crowded Morjim beach, which has good shacks where you can sit under an umbrella for ₹100 per chair, or free if you have a ₹1,000 bill throughout the day.

The 4-foot swimming pool is clean and nice, but the washroom for the pool area is not that clean.

There's an in-house bar and cafe, but it's too expensive (₹35 for a cup of tea, and the menu starts from ₹200).

Breakfast is available at ₹500 per person per day, but it's better to explore nearby options.

The staff is good and polite, but don't expect anything extra.

There's a nearby taxi stand and option for renting scooties, but car rentals are uncertain.

Cons:

Outside parking for cars and bikes is available in an empty space outside the resort, which may raise security concerns for some, although the front desk claims there are CCTV cameras installed.

Don't expect hotel-like services; you have to ask for everything, even for items like water bottles (only 2 are free), toiletries, and electric kettles.

Food delivery services like Swiggy and Zomato are not allowed.

The in-house cafe and bar are expensive.

Great location. Literally 1 min walk to the beach (Bora Bora lane). Plenty of eating options around the resort

Very clean decently sized swimming pool. Overall vibe is good

Rooms were spacious and clean linen. Bathroom was clean but looked wornout. Hot water was.good. Finer aspects in the room needs attention (e.g. tea and coffe packets though present looked very old) did not feel like using the kettle

Things to improve: Breakfast was not good. Barring toast and butter, other items were not good. Please book room without breakfast

Service is something they seriously need to improve. Area outside the rooms was never cleaned. Used towels were never picked up unless asked explicitly

The common washroom in the pool area is very bad

We were looking for a place to celebrate my friends birthday and wanted a place with a pool for just one night. Being a hotelier myself I wanted a clean place with good service. I saw a few properties online and connected on the numbers I found online. The minute I connected with Tarun, the owner of this property, I knew he was aware what hospitality is all about. He was prompt and made it comfortable for me to select this place. For that matter he didn't even push for the payment before arrival. Once we checked in, he made sure everything was taken care of.
