We started with the prawn vindaloo a local Goan specialty, and it was a revelation. The prawns were succulent, perfectly cooked, and the spice blend was a delightful dance of tangy and fiery notes. The chef clearly knew their way around Goan spices. For the main course, we opted for the fresh catch of the day, grilled kingfish. It arrived flaky, moist, and seasoned simply, allowing the fish’s natural sweetness to shine. The accompanying salad, with its vibrant mix of local greens and a light vinaigrette, was a refreshing counterpoint. Our server, a friendly young man named Sahil, was attentive without being intrusive. He offered helpful recommendations and ensured our drinks were always topped up. The service was relaxed, as is typical of Goa, but always efficient. The ambiance at The Last Shack is undeniably laid-back. Think fairy lights strung between coconut trees, the soft murmur of conversations, and the gentle crash of waves. The music was a mix of chill reggae and acoustic tunes, adding to the relaxed vibe. The shack was clean and well-maintained, with simple but comfortable seating. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the seafood and the stunning sunset view. We paid roughly ₹2000 for two, including drinks and a generous portion of seafood. The Last Shack is perfect for those seeking an authentic Goan beach experience. We recently had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful place located right by the beach, and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

The highlight of our visit was the outstanding hospitality. Especially the manager, MR. LOKESH went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. His friendly demeanor and proactive approach to addressing any needs made a lasting impression.

The food was simply incredible—fresh, delicious, and with a variety of options to suit every palate. Every meal felt like a gourmet experience, whether it was the sumptuous brunch or the delightful seafood dishes by the beach.

The services provided were top-notch as well. The staff was attentive, professional, and always ready to assist, ensuring a seamless experience throughout our stay.

Additionally, the location was perfect, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and easy access to the beach withh full peace & privacy. Whether it was relaxing by the shore or enjoying the delicacies of the hotel, every moment felt like a dream.

We visited The Last Shack in Morjim beach Goa at 11 Jan and had an extremely disappointing experience with their food quality and service. 😞

We placed our order at 8:30 PM, including basic dishes like dal, rice, chapati, tandoor items, and some starters. With a toddler 👶 in our group, we expected timely service, but the first order took nearly an hour to arrive, even though there were only about 10 customers at the shack.

The food was bland and tasteless 🤢, and the service was painfully slow. By 11:30 PM, we still hadn’t received our remaining order, so we had to request it be delivered to our room. We wasted three hours waiting, and the total bill came to an overpriced ₹3,400 for four people – no alcohol, just a simple order. 💸

To make matters worse, the staff and manager were extremely rude and unprofessional. 😡 This was by far the worst shack experience we’ve ever had in Goa. Please avoid this place at all costs! 🚫
