My family and I stayed at this beautiful property for 3N/4D. I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am I found De Soul Sante. It was everything I wanted in 1 place. To start off with, it's exactly like the pictures you see online. Right opposite the lane to Morjim beach. Barely takes you 2 mins to reach from the hotel to the beach. We booked the superior suite room with a spare mattress and it was huge. These are cottage styled rooms with a small patch of garden outside the rooms. Patio to sit out. Rooms are extremely clean with ambient lighting. Big screen TV with Netflix/Prime etc. Excellent WiFi speed. Kettle/Tea/Coffee/Toiletries are all provided. Breakfast is complimentary. There is a set menu everyday, which changes and is unlimited. I cannot rave enough about the breakfast out here. Even the other meals served in house are reasonably priced and delicious. We were so taken up by the quality and quantity we just had to meet chef 'Krishna'. We've been to so many restaurants in Goa but it is so difficult to find consistently well cooked food anywhere. You just know he loves and takes pride in his craft. The server also named 'Krishna' was warm and always greeted us with a smile for each meal. He had a specific table set for us everyday. The entire staff including the guys at the reception Aakash & Akshay are very helpful and hospitable.
Service does tend to get a little slow but it is the norm everywhere in Goa so no complaints. The pool is also around the property and is clean and well maintained. Please do not hesitate and just book De Soul Sante whenever you're in Goa. Highly...
Read moreThe resort, not sure if it can be called so currently, is definitely not at its best. First of all, the property is not sea facing exactly but they have an adjacent plot which is next to the beach. But monsoon season has done it's damage in the property. The beach adjacent plot is in ruins, no huts and not even places to sit. Currently it's just a non-lit path to the beach from the actual property. The property itself is not at its best. The reception entrance and exit was not clean, hence the initial impression it self was not good. We got a corner room which was facing backside of some other buildings and hotels, wasn't a garden view cottage at all. We requested for another room but all were either used as store room, or leaking or let to other guests (we could only find one other person apart from us staying there). The room just had basic amenities, good space and rustic feel. AC was working well. The breakfast was basic and limited but good. The property care takers like Krishna did their best to listen and resolve our concerns to some extent possible within there limitations due to the current condition of the resort. The parking is on the road side in front of the property but the road is already small with people fighting for parking space. If the resort had more than 3 customers, it would have been a hassle. The price they quote is at par with 3 or 4 star hotels and Resorts, but in it's current state it is not justifiable. I guess you may skip this resort of travel plan is before October 2022 by when they said resort will be back to...
Read moreDe Soul Sante was the perfect place for me to stay as a solo female traveler from the US. My wishlist included lodging that was steps from the beach but had walkable options for food, drink, nightlife, and water activities/excursions. This place delivered on all those things and was much more than I was expecting.
The staff and front desk went above and beyond to make my stay so wonderful. Beyond basic room services, they coordinated taxi pickups for me, offered food recommendations (they also have great room service) and even helped me with a few outside calls when I experienced language barriers.
The room itself was quite spacious with a very large, dreamy bed. I had so much room for my bags, plenty of places to dry wet clothes, and all the pleasant little things were there to make this stay so comfortable. If something wasn’t there in the room, all I had to do was ask and it was brought to the doorstep by the friendly staff. There was even a cute balcony to lounge on out front if I wanted to enjoy the scenic grove and romantic fairly lit trees on the property. If you’re wanting something chill, comfortable, cute (and romantic) with the BEST beach access, look no further. A quick shoutout to Krishna and a few other very sweet staff members that made my stay very good.
Best things about the property: steps from the beach steps from aesthetic restaraunts, lounges, clubs very short, walkable distance from shopping huts and convenience shops taxi stand right out front -spacious, clean rooms & all the...
