Bridge N Tunnel — Hotel in Goa

I recently stayed at the Bridge and Tunnel Hotel in Palolem Beach, Goa, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

Pros: The only redeeming feature of this hotel is the location. The view is absolutely fabulous, and the beach is right in front of you, just 50 meters away. If you’re looking for a place to stay right on the beach, the proximity is unbeatable. The price of ₹2700 per night is somewhat reasonable considering the beachfront location.

Cons: Room Quality: While the room was clean upon arrival, it was extremely small and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I encountered big rats in the room at night, which turned the stay into a nightmare. Lack of Amenities: No TV, no room service, and no food service were available. Hot water was not consistently available—you had to call reception every time to request it. While they did turn it on promptly, this was inconvenient. Housekeeping was non-existent, and they didn’t clean the room during my stay. Restaurant: No hotel’s restaurant is there, and nearby restaurants are overpriced. Eating out felt like a struggle due to the inflated food costs in the area. Customer Service: There was hardly anyone around to assist or attend to guests. The lack of staff and their indifferent attitude made the stay less pleasant. Safety Concerns: Strange scary sounds during the night added to the discomfort.

Conclusion: If you’re traveling with family, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel due to the lack of cleanliness, basic amenities, and poor customer service. Located at the South end of the Palolem Beach, this place is right out of a wallpaper. With a nice secluded beach interspersed with rocks right in in front of the cottages . In the evenings you could just sit in the balcony and watch the sun go down behind Canacona Island on the other side of the palolem beach.Location : To start with Bridge and Tunnel is one of the Best locations on Palolem Beach. Just on the edge of the sea, The waves are right at your door steps during the high tide. It has got a great Sunset view and sound of the waves during night is pure Bliss.Rooms : Rooms are decent and clean and they are among the top ten in palolem Beach in terms of comfort . and you have the great view of the ocean and Canacona island right out of your window. Though there was no AC ,the cool sea breeze made up for it. and also our host Mr Pratik promised us that he would be installing AC s for the next season. In the night the reflections of lights on palolem beach and the cool sea breeze is relaxing.Restaurant : Its located right on the Beach literally . In the night the sounds of the waves combined with live music and great food under a candle light makes this the right spot for a romantic Date with your spouse .Service :Our Host Mr Pratik a charming young man, made sure our stay was as pleasant and comfortable as possible. Amazing scenery, beautiful beach, fabulous food, superb staff, what more could you ask. Oh, and Perfect sunset past your front door, amazing. If you are looking for a week of complete relaxation this is the place,great value too.||We stayed at Bridge N Tunnel for 4 days and loved every minute. It exceeded our expectations - we were looking for a beach experience that was not busy or noisy or crowded with beautiful scenery and a sense of remoteness and that is what we got. ||||The beach hut we had was great with a lovely Balcony where we spent many a happy hour reading and chatting. The bathroom facilities are basic but clean If you are looking for a luxury accommodation experience then do not come here - go to a five star hotel. But if you want to go to bed at night listening to the waves crash onto the beach and wake up looking at the sea in utter peace and quiet then you will enjoy Bridge N Tunnel. ||Food was excellent and the service was efficient, cheerful and always prompt. The staff could not have been more helpful.
