Capital O 322 Sea Breeze Candolim — Hotel in Goa

I arrived on 20th January 2020 and was due to leave on 22nd February but illness delayed my departure until 27th February. There was absolutely no problem with extending my stay and the receptionist Punam and manager Gilson went out of their way to make sure I was alright. ||On arrival, after check in, I was led across a cracked and broken courtyard, past a lovely looking swimming pool and shown upstairs to a room with a balcony which should have overlooked the pool. Unfortunately the palm trees are overgrown and restrict the view from the balcony.||The room was large and spacious with a king size bed, a ceiling fan and air conditioning which proved very efficient. ||The housekeeping manager Sidish and his team did a great job of keeping my room fresh and clean for the duration of my stay with my bedding and towels changed every few days without the need to ask.||On several occasions I got back to my room to find a complimentary bottle of wine or mango juice in the fridge.||As I have said previously, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful in any dealings I had with them.||However.||Now the downsides. ||As I mentioned earlier, the courtyard one has to cross to go to the rooms is badly damaged and in serious need of repair.||Most of the sunbeds around the pool are in a poor state of repair although a few of them were replaced whilst I was there. The mattresses on the sunbeds are flat, dirty, and uncomfortable. The pool surrounds have cracked and broken slabs, and empty bottles, cigarette butts and rubbish are strewn in the grass and under the bushes around the pool.||On two occasions during my stay, the pool turned green with green slime on the bottom. The young man who usually looked after the pool told me on both occasions that he had no chemicals to put in the water and had to wait until given more. For me, this meant not using the pool for three days each time. ||Despite large notices detailing rules for the use of the pool, these were totally ignored by the majority of the guests who are Russion. ||A large number of these guests chose to party and drink the nights away around the pool and frequently partied around the pool from early evening until around seven in the morning without let or hinderance from the hotels night staff. There were numerous complaints made by guests whilst I was there but nothing changed.||Breakfast was a buffet of eggs, omelette or boiled, masala potatoes, bread and butter and watermelon. Hot tea and coffee is provided with milk from an urn.||As mentioned in previous reviews, the photographs of this hotel are very misleading as they were obviously taken some years ago. ||Would I stay here again? ||I am afraid not. The crumbling infrastructure poor maintenance and dedication to a client group who have no regard for other guests, means that sadly, I will not return.||My thanks to all...

The property on first look appears to be good. However, there is no maintenance and most of the staff is temporary with little to no training on housekeeping, in room dining, buffet or handling your grievances.||||I was here for a week and it turned out to be a job to stay here than a vacation.||||Room#1 - The room allocated to us on the day of the arrival did not have a functional AC, imagine yourself in the situation where you have driven for 12 hours in April heat and the room isn't cooling for 3 hours.||Room#2 - after 3 hours the staff took us to show another room which can be allocated to us; and guess what there's someone lying on the bed and the staff has no clue who they are||Room#3 - So after figuring out that 2 out of the 4 wings have an issue of centralised AC, they offered us the 3rd room which started cooling thankfully. However, this seemed to be under maintenance for some time and had a moldy smell to it, but i had to make do (sleepy from the drive). See pics. Add to that no minibar to keep your drinks, no kettle, no extra towels and no toiletries.||On the second night, we realised that the room service doesnt clean the toilets, mop the floor or clear your used cups and glasses unless you ask them to do it. Because they are all trainees and havent done this before. So you wake up every morning go to the reception and hand them a to-do list of what you want done in the room (imagine that).||Night 3 - ANT Infestation!!!!!!||11.30 in the night you feel theres something on the floor and when you switch on the lights, you find ants all over the floor (i was so shocked and sleepy, i didnt take pictures). I tried so hard to cancel the booking but it was non-refundable, had it been even 50% i would have taken it.||If you decide to stay here, you should be paid by the management because you will end up teaching them a thing or two about running a hotel.||BOOK SOMETHING...

My husband Mr. D'souza is working in sea breeze resort as a manager.He is a rude and crazy man.From the last 3 years he is having a ball with Russian ladies.Since he is a manager he can even go to their room and have a nice time.Just because he works like a dog his Owner Mr.Couto has left everything up to him.I have seen his photos with Russian ladies hugging and kissing them in their rooms.I had no problem with the photos until I saw his dirty text messages with the Russian ladies.When I got their number I text them and told them about my husband,but instead of trying to understand my problem they sent all my messages back to him and instead of blocking him , they blocked me.Some of them are Larisa,Kritisia,etc I don't know the names of other Russian ladies.After that he created problem for me in the house.Recently in October 2017 when I came to know that he is having a nice time with a Russian lady Alina I went to his resort.After that he hit me on my head with a stool and wanted to kill me like a crazy man.I just want all the Russian ladies to know that he is a crazy man who doesn't care for his wife and son.I spoke to the owner's wife but no action is taken as yet and he's continuing the same thing. Me and my son have been chased out of the house.All the staff (boys)talk had about him and they have spread the news that he is a big flirt, but they are very good to him on his face.one of them is Pawan (room boy)who always poisoned my son's mind by telling all bad things about his father.I want to ask the Russian ladies what do you all get by doing all this?I don't like this resort because I feel somthing fishy is going on. "RUSSIAN LADIES COVER YOUR BODIES! DOGS ARE WAITING TO DEVOUR YOU ALL." Please tell me what I should do...
