D'Silva Beach Cottages Goa — Hotel in Goa

So this was after a gap of 6 long years I again planned to visit my favorite holiday destination in India..GOA !! Last time I visited I was totally mesmerized and delighted by the beach side shacks and stay in Dsilva cottages, this time too without and hesitation I went for it and it did not failed my high hopes..I am so glad to see the Dsilva cottages in it's new avatar.. the rooms are awesome, couple friendly, totally safe and the best part.. it's the only beach side cottage in Calangute which is 'actually' connected to the beach. Yes, there are some smaller pity issues with the room services, but the rentless efforts of Mr Sumit and Mr Yogesh is beyond expectations and uncompromising hats off to you two guys.. Vivek, the owner of the property is one cool guy he is a wonderful champ ready to help when ever you want.. in nut shell this is a strong recommendation for one who are planning to visit for Goa and want to spent some real quality time go for Dsilva cottages.. finally thank you Goa...

Our stay was not impressive. I booked the rooms 2 months in advance. Arranged Airport pick-up through the hotel and they gave the cab # and driver #. When I reached Goa at early morning 2am and called the cab driver for pick-up, he was sleeping and couldn't make up. Disappointed at the Airport itself and made other arrangements to reach the hotel. When we entered the rooms, it was so small and cockroaches running around. There was no shelves to keep things, no hangers and no toiletries given. What we see in photo's are not same in reality. We just stayed only for that night (prepaid) and checked out in the morning and found a good hotel close by to beach. It may be Ok for guys visiting with friends, but not a best...

Visited this place for the 2nd time. Please note that this place is quite average. The rooms, staff, and service everything was okayish. They did not have any water bottles when we visited the place and we had to get our own from the next resort. Apart from these problems, I have rated this place a 3 because this place is right on the beach which is the most important part. This place is beautiful despite how it has been maintained. The staff was helpful and we got a room for 3 people at a very affordable price. If you are looking for a place that is right on the beach and not too pocket-heavy, this...
