Ivy Retreat — Hotel in Goa

The place was listed on airbnb for some 1500 per night plus taxes , when i booked from there for 3 night my total payment was nearly 5500 on airbnb . I made the complete payment & sent booking request to the host . This was done by me at nearly 1 in night , in the morning my booking request was cancelled and i got a text from the host that the price is 2k per night & i have canceled your booking from this platform you pay on arrival & can check in . It made a difference of only 500 rs but i felt the host could put the correct price on the airbnb because people have to look for there budget & it can be quite a possibily that 5500 was my max. Budget for the stay . When i checked out , a few hours later i got a text from host saying that i damaged his iron & for the fact i didn't even touch the iron or move it from its place . It is really not good to blame people like this , he could have asked hus staff if it was working in first place on or not . I didn't even touch the iron & the host blamed me for damaging it , how unprofessional this behavior is. Besides this my stay at the place was quite comfortable , it was a stdio apartment with all the amenities , from washing maching , iron , hair dryer , utensils , detergent , body wash etc. Everything was available in the room . A very pleasant 3 night 4 days stay. Taken a 1 BHK. The room is allowed for 4 person's. There's a kitchenette with Microwave Oven, Induction Stove with Induction Utensils, Cups, Plates, bowls, packed in a kitchen trolly, also was a 165 litre refrigerator. There were 2 foldable sofa cum beds in the Hall. Wireless internet broadband router with decent bandwidth speed. The place is located in baga. But inside a lane which connects the parallel road going to Anjuna. The location is such that being close to baga, calangute, anjuna but still having nil hustle and bustle of traffic, markets and tourists. The room is cleaned everyday with the kitchen utensils too. We cooked breakfast everyday, the fridge stocked with beverage. There's a 4 seater high rise pub dining table in the Hall.Theres AC in Hall and bedroom. There are two balconies one in Hall facing the swimming pool and other facing front side road, where cars are parked. The bedroom has double bed, with dressing table, closet, attached bathroom. The place has 24/7 hot cold water in all taps showers. Enjoyed the swimming pool with friends after the lockdown. The service is good. Overall a very good experience. Even one star isn't enough for this apartment. Horrible experience throughout the stay. 1.Who so ever calls himself a manager, sends a boy to our flat asking to stay calm in midst of a party. Security guard turn offs the power cable whenever he wants it. There's lot of restrictions to enter into a pool, wearing nylon clothes is a must which everybody knew, apart from this clothing there's a flexi written with no of rules to follow which fcuks your mind There are residents and people who own their flats are staying with the tourists and they're constantly mocking every one to stay calm. Nobody comes to knock your door from second day for room service. So called Manager comes to you only to poke you, mock you and say whatever he wants to say but never tries to listen what we're trying to convey.

I can't give zero stars so had to push one for donno what reason.

When there are residents staying in the apartment you shouldn't list that on business websites and ask your tourist fellow to keep quiet all night and during pool time as well. We didn't understand whether we came for a holiday or entered...
