La Amour — Hotel in Goa

Pros: Location: right on the beach, french windows allow a good view of the sea/garden from bed.

Jacuzzi: The sea view rooms have a private jacuzzi (suitable for one person). But you don't get much privacy with it, as it is on the outside of the room.

AC : as the weather can be humid, good thing they have AC.

Cons: Service : Nobody comes to provide complimentary items ( tea/coffee, toiletries or even water bottles) unless you ask for it. Nobody comes to clean the rooms unless you ask for it. And when they come they act as if they are doing you a favour. Not professional at all.

Cleanliness: Being a beach resort, you'd expect they will focus more on the cleanliness of the room due closer proximity to insects. But no one came to clean rooms during our 4night stay. Even though we kept room closed most of the time, we found lizard inside the room.

Value for money: Paid around 11k per night (breakfast included) but it is not worth that, you can get a stay in a 5 star private beach resort (eg The Lalit) for around 14k which has 10x satisfactory...

Although we didn't stayed here, visited their shacks and found the food and ambiance is excellent.

One standout aspect was the live music and the singer, whose voice was mesmerising. We were so enthralled that we even ran to locate the source of the music. His voice was truly mesmerizing and it was the highlight of our experience at the shacks. We were so captivated by his live performance that we literally ran to find out where the music was coming from.

The singer had a unique style and was able to connect with the audience effortlessly. We enjoyed his performance so much that we came back to see if he would be performing again the next day. Unfortunately, he was not there, so we had to explore other shacks. Overall, the singer's live performance added a special touch to our visit and made it a memorable experience.

I would definately visit this place again if I ever planned...

Rooms are very unhygienic and dirty. We found lizards and insects inside room. Inside washroom the jetspray was leaking and water was clogging continuously. Infact the main attraction Jacuzzi was full of ants, even after multiple cleaning it was always full of ants.

To be specific, it was not at all worth the money.
