I truly wish I could warn more people about this place, but I hope someone will read this and choose to stay absolutely away. I dined at the restaurant just few days ago with my family. Sadly, I became extremely sick after eating here - probably the sickest I’ve ever been in India. First, the restaurant is absolutely unhygienic. There are numerous stray dogs running around the tables, urinating in the dining area, and coming to patrons every few minutes for food. We love dogs and love feeding/taking care of strays, but it’s really perturbing when you’re trying to enjoy a meal and there are no controls or quality standards for the actual dining premises. Despite our numerous requests to the staff to please tend to these animals, no one listened. Second, I ordered a tawa (pan-fried) fish. I realized afterwards that they had the fish literally lying outside in a basket in the hot sun for hours. Third, I’m not sure how properly the cooks cleaned the fish, given the generally poor sanitary conditions of the restaurant, or what oil they used to fry the rice and vegetables that came with the dish. In any event, the next day, I was so ill I could barely stand without severe abdominal pain and nausea. I’ve never experienced that kind of abdominal pain before. After several medicines, an antibiotic, and home remedies, I’m just now starting to regain my strength. Please, please stay away from this place at any cost. There are far better places in South Goa to experience authentic Goan seafood and under much better and pleasing conditions. Your stomach will thank you for it! This place should be duly reported to the food sanitation authorities and thoroughly...
Read moreNestled along the coastline, our beachside stay provided an idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the ocean stretching endlessly before us.
The accommodation itself was nothing but the beauty of simplicity, with spacious rooms adorned, offering both comfort and style. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing against the shore was a surreal experience, one that instantly put us in a state of relaxation.
The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the beach access. Whether we were lounging on the soft sands, taking a leisurely stroll along the water's edge, or simply basking in the sun, the beach provided the perfect backdrop for moments of serenity and connection with nature.
In addition to the natural beauty surrounding us, the resort amenities were top-notch. From cocktails to dining experiences, specially the beach side candle light dinner, every aspect of our stay was carefully curated to ensure maximum enjoyment.
Overall, our beachside stay was a truly unforgettable experience. It offered the perfect blend of luxury, tranquility, and natural beauty, making it the ideal destination for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat by the sea. We can't wait to return and create more cherished memories in this...
Read moreMy sister-in-law and I absolutely loved our experience at Chill Out Jasmine from the moment we arrived the service and smiles surpassed anything else we had received in India. The Beachhut we rented was spotless. We had the best nights sleep we've had in a month very quiet and comfortable. The owner himself was generous and flexible, even letting us charge our phones in the restaurant. The location is exactly what we wanted and we didn't move from those sunbeds for eight days! Clean towels every day waiter service what could be better! We would highly recommend Chillout Jasmine's food the extensive menu and quick service together with local ingredients and Smiles kept us coming back for more. The fresh fish was unbelievable. As we sit completing this review, we are finishing brunch, a delicious fruit bowl with honey yoghurt, fresh coconut juice and a mushroom and cheese omelette 2nd to none. Sohnam and his Colleagues were excellent. One thing to note beware of the Long Island iced tea we understand there are five shots of liquor in there we can assure you you only need one drink! 🤣
We are sure to return someday
With love ❤️...
