I recently had the pleasure of visiting Fernandes restaurant and accommodation, and I must say that my experience with them was truly amazing. Our hosts, Kishore and Rana, played a significant role in making our stay a memorable one. They were always willing to assist us with anything we needed and their humble nature made us feel at home.

The rooms at Fernandes were impressive as well. The beds were big enough to accommodate a family with small children, eliminating the need for separate beds. The cleanliness and maintenance of the bathrooms were impeccable, with both warm and cold water available for use.

The restaurant at Fernandes was another highlight of our stay. They had an extensive menu with a wide variety of cuisines to choose from, and the taste of their dishes was simply delightful. Additionally, the pricing was reasonable and fair, making our dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Furthermore, Fernandes is situated right in front of the sea, providing guests with a breathtaking view of the sea from the accommodation. This proximity to the sea is an added advantage and makes for a delightful stay.

Restaurant Review

I recently visited this restaurant and had one of the most disappointing experiences ever. The service was absolutely terrible. The staff displayed the worst behavior I’ve encountered, especially toward Indian guests, showing a clear lack of respect and care. It was evident that they were not interested in providing good service or even basic courtesy.

The food was another disaster. The dishes were burnt and completely inedible. When I pointed this out to the staff, they responded with a “don’t care” attitude, making no effort to fix the issue or even apologize. The lack of professionalism was shocking.

What stood out most was the rude behavior of the staff. They seemed annoyed by even simple requests and made us feel unwelcome throughout our visit. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially in the hospitality industry.

Overall, this was a very bad experience, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you’re looking for good food and respectful service, avoid this place at all costs. It’s not worth your time or money. Save yourself the frustration and choose a restaurant that values...

So the five stars I’m giving to this place is because of the rooms they have. I stayed here for three nights and it was really nice. I had a perfect view of the sea from my window and a lovely private corner on a large balcony. It was exactly what I wanted- to enjoy the beach without being surrounded by people in the middle of a pandemic. Now it’s really a super basic place. There is nothing fancy about it. It’s simple and cozy but the view is what you’re there for. I didn’t end up spending much time in the room. The front rooms have ac, hot water, fans, mosquito net. Don’t expect anything more. Kishore, who runs the place is a really nice and helpful person. We made the entire booking through Facebook and it worked fine. It was secluded from the busy part of the beach which is more to the south but also 8-10 min walk to the south of the beach if you want to enjoy bigger crowds. It’s also 5 mins walk from the main road. The most important thing is that the sea is fabulous in the part and if you love a good swim, this is a good spot! Only negative- food isn’t great!
