Horrible Experience – Stay Away from Neo Villas - GoAround Home!
Our stay at Neo Villas - GoAround Home was a complete nightmare. Everything seemed smooth until we paid our stay in advance , but once we arrived, it was clear we had been deceived.
False Advertising & Poor Property Condition
The property looked nothing like the photos. It was dirty, poorly maintained, and far from the “luxury” they promised. Filthy linens, stained upholstery, and a disgusting kitchen made for an extremely uncomfortable stay. Hygiene was clearly not a priority.
Deceptive Relocation & Safety Concerns
After complaining about the poor conditions, they moved us to another property “ Casa Mellow” that was even worse. Exhausted from a 12-hour drive with two dogs, we had no choice but to accept. The water was milky white—unsafe even to wash your face with. Worse, there was a door connecting the staff kitchen to our property, raising serious privacy and security concerns.
Hidden Charges & Host’s Unprofessional Behavior
We were initially informed about pet charges, but suddenly, the price increased per day without a warning. When we confronted the host, Atharva, he completely changed his stance, refused responsibility, and even denied ownership of the second property. Things escalated to the point where they sent the property manager to vacate us.
Zero Accountability & Worst Customer Service
Atharva’s attitude was manipulative and unprofessional. They only cared about money, not guest experience. Once we paid, they stopped caring altogether.
Final Verdict: A Money-Making Scam This was by far the worst stay we’ve ever had. The entire experience was filled with lies, poor service, and exploitation. Not safe for humans or pets—avoid Neo Villas - GoAround Home at all costs! If there were an option for half a star, even that would be too much for this disastrous experience.
Too Shady to be standardised with a nominal class!! Atharva- please don’t fool people with your fluent English and knowledge of Goa , you’re just another opportunist sitting there tight to scam another person ! I wish I would have wasted another moment going legal on you ! But it’s really not worth it. Maybe that’s what Goa has turned into because of unethical practises by people like you ! God bless you and your inhuman unethical formats of work !
Parking anywhere in Goa is a concern, specially this property with the people running & hosting a suitable parking is beyond expectations. PLEASE CONSIDER NOT TAKING YOUR PERSONAL VEHICLE …Furthermore I could add photos and videos but I’m not that nasty! Every proof of details were taken. Honestly...
Read moreNeo Villa is near Vagator and claims to offer public parking. In reality, the public parking is roadside parking, which may not seem problematic, but the roadside is filled with garbage, and you end up parking in the garbage itself. The villa has parking available for one car, but the owner claims this parking spot for his own. However, the owner neither lives on the property nor has his car parked there, so we initially used this parking spot for our car.
We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. We also heard that the nearby property owners would call the police if any car was parked on the roadside for just 5 minutes. When new guests arrived at the villa, we were asked to move our car to the roadside, which was filled with garbage. The space provided on the roadside is so narrow that there is a chance of getting scratches or dents on the car. When we expressed our discomfort, the owner tried to justify himself by offering two options:
Park on the roadside, which was filled with garbage, leaving us worried that our car might be towed by the police or get scratched by other vehicles.
Park at the other property, which is 300 meters away. This might be uncomfortable as you would need to go to the other property every time, knock on the gate, or call the owner to get your car whenever needed.
We found the owner very rude and not at all helpful; it was a very bad experience. Additionally, this property didn't have any caretaker, so for any issues, you have to call the owner, who then sends someone, which can easily take up to half an hour for your problems to be addressed. The entire villa had very dim lighting, was filled with mosquitoes, and felt haunted at night.
Moreover, contrary to what was shown on the website,
No gas stove; instead, they provided an induction cooktop where only two utensils had induction bases which is also not so hygienic.
No washing machine as mentioned on website.
No Dishwasher.
No Towel.
No Modular kitchen.
No Kettle.
No Wooden floor.
In Dishes only two plates.
No Housekeeping.
No laundry service.
No Security/Guard/Caretaker

Unethical Pricing Tactics and Host’s Unprofessionalism: We were informed of an extra charge for pets, to which we agreed. However, after voicing our concerns, the price for pets mysteriously increased per day. When we confronted them, the host, Atharva, who initially acted accommodating, completely changed his stance, denying any responsibility and claiming that the second property wasn’t even part of his business. They went as far as sending people to vacate us from the property.
Zero Accountability and Worst Customer Service: Atharva’s behavior was unprofessional and manipulative. It was clear that they were only interested in taking our money without delivering on their promises. We felt cheated and disrespected throughout the ordeal.
Final Verdict: This was by far the worst stay we’ve ever experienced. We tried to handle everything transparently from the beginning but were met with dishonesty and exploitation. If you value your peace of mind and hard-earned money, avoid Neo Villas - GoAround...
