Ramatan Resort — Hotel in Goa

I booked my stay with Ramatan resort through Goibibo But 2 days before our travel My father-in-law was admitted to hospital due to urgent brain surgery so I placed a cancellation request With Goibibo for my non refundable booking as I had a medical emergency. Attached all medical reports and dropped a mail and Registered request for Refund. The same was forwarded to hotel. But in spite of multiple follow up mails by goibibo with the hotel they didn't approve the refund initiation Stating the booking is non refundable. Tried reaching hotel personally But hotel owner was not ready to talk. Finally when he responded to our multiple calls, and when I had talk with Mr Prateek, hotel owner. He behaved very rude and instead was smiling hearing to my concern inspite of providing him a legitimate reason for not showing up. I asked him for obliging with stay dates amendments at least if refund was not possible For that also he didn't agree. I feel the problem we entered in can happen with anyone anytime. Above all policies there is one humanitarian ground which was not even thought about and money making was the only motive. He didn't show any sense of fairness. When we couldn't stay on our booking dates Someone might have surely occupied the room. So we lost our money due to Mr Prateek's inhuman decision And couldn't get any resolution from goibibo as they kept on repeating hotel owner is not approving refund or amendment in dates and I ended up losing my ₹21000 which I paid for booking such hotel with such hotel owner who showed totally inhuman behaviour. Regret making Ramatan resort my first choice for stay in Goa. I should have chosen a resort with better customer friendly management then perhaps I wouldn't have...

Firstly we reach there in morning our agency pre booked it for early check in but when we reach there they said that there is no booking on your name then they ask someone else so we waited there for 1 hour then our breakfast was included when we went to canteen for breakfast staff was giving us looks as if we are eating there without money , the staff was looking very bad they are giving us looks and after finally when we got our room we went to the pool area the restaurant staff were laughing and constantly looking at us their behavior was rude to us . I highly do not recommend this resort or hotel for your stay we you want to stay then stay at vagator downtown their behavior is so good we went their for our lunch they are very humble to us even we're not staying at their hotel we only went their for our lunch and after lunch they offer us to take a look for their hotel and asked us that we can take our photos at there terrace area for the great view this hotel is near to ramatan resort Also I want to say that ramtan resort we hope you will look after your staff your property is very good but your staff was rude and we do not like it . Also the hotel was very far away from the tourist area you'll have to pay for the cab in large amount of money. Thank you so much for all you services But also not thankful for your rude...
