Review: 20/10 Experience — A Hidden Gem in Goa
After spending 8 days in Goa, I can confidently say this place is hands down my favourite spot to dine. I had dinner here 6 out of those 8 nights — and the only reason I missed the other two was because I wasn’t on this side of town!
From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warmth — a big shoutout to Priyanka, who’s an incredibly friendly and gracious host. The energy is relaxed, the vibes are chill (20/20 vibes, easy), and it’s tucked away from the crowded parts of the city, making it a peaceful little oasis.
Now let’s talk food — 20/10. I’m a chef myself, and I’ve had meals at Michelin Guide restaurants, but this place? It holds a special place in my heart. Everything I’ve tried here has been spectacular: the steak, steak sandwich, fish and chips, prawns biryani, and the spaghetti Bolognese — all cooked to absolute perfection. Trust me when I say, whatever you order, you’re in great hands with Chef Vernic. His consistency and quality are next level.
Prices are more than reasonable for the quality you’re getting — especially when compared to other places around Goa.
One of my favourite parts? The bar. If you see an empty seat, grab it! It’s the perfect place to strike up a conversation or just sit back and enjoy some quiet time. Whether you’re solo or with friends, this place adapts to your vibe.
This is more than just a restaurant to me now — it’s a spot I’ll return to every time I’m in Goa. Big love to the team — you’ve gained a loyal...
Read moreThe perfect place if you want to watch any sports event whilst you are away on holiday. The owners are a local family and look after you from the minute you walk through the door to the moment you leave. The food is excellent - not an enormous menu to choose from but what is on offer is top notch all freshly cooked and excellent value for money. Word of advice - unless you have an enormous appetite when ordering Indian food only order I portion of rice as the bowl that comes is more than enough for two normal portions. As a personal choice the mushroom soup is a must as a starter (absolutely divine). Can't wait to revisit Barn 31 on our next visit. Try it you won't be...
Read moreReally Nice place with all sorts of food at reasonable prices. Best when it is not Football Night... Edit: I change my previous 4 to a 3 since our last visit was a 2. Ordered beef and it took them 20 minutes to tell me they had no beef. Ordered something else and after 40 more minutes we asked what (didn't) happen? She just laughed and said there were many people there. After 15 more minutes we asked for the bill for our...
