Sea Breeze Village Calangute — Hotel in Goa

We were the unfortunate ones to ignore the significant amount of bad reviews and reach here recently.||This place does not have basic amenities in place.Washrooms are dirty and taps broken.|There are filthy buckets and you have to literally sit under the tap to bathe.|Bedsheets are torn and blankets are not provided. Sanitization is not there at all.|The management and staff is least bothered to maintain the property and basic things like room cleaning etc are not in place.Lot of mosquitoes to add to your woes|And they charge 2500 per night for all this.The room is not even worth INR 500||People please take this seriously and do not book this hotel.We literally left the next day to check into another hotel.Unfortunately had to pay for that day without staying and leave as per the policy.|The reason for writing this review is to warn all the innocent souls from getting duped.||A lot of photos here are misleading and trust me the condition of the rooms is the worst I have ever seen.||I appeal to trip advisor to immediately get the latest photos uploaded so that people can see the reality. Uploading such photos and duping people is no less than a criminal offence so I hope trip advisor gets this rectified from the hotel immediately.||Infact this place should be banned and not listed itself for sale as it will seriously impact the credibility of...

I have lots of worst things to share. Let me explain in points.

First, I booked for 2 rooms for 2 adults and 1 child each. They charged me 600 extra (300 each room extra bed) for the child. When I checked in, they gave me only 1 room with extra bed. When I asked the receptionist the reason, he said one room I booked with child age 10 yrs and the other with age 5 yrs (which is actual). He said they will not provide extra bed if the child age is 5 yrs. When I asked they why I was charged for extra bed, he told me to check with goibibo.

Secondly, the sea breeze village is nowhere on the google map. We took almost 30 mins to search.

Third, While booking it was mentioned it has Multi Cuisine Restaurant, Poolside Bar, Parking. But none was there.

Fourth, The rooms were not that good. They were ok. Bathroom was worst. For western style toilet there was no hand shower for toilet. The head shower had a hole. So taking bath with that was a fearsome. They didnt had bucket in bathroom. When asked, they said we need to request.

Fifth, I asked for a tea in the morning and they took almost 30-40 mins to prepare and it was worst tea. They charged me Rs. 40 for 1 cup of tea.

I strongly suggest not to opt for this hotel.

The only good thing with this hotel was near to most of the known beaches...

Overall experience is decent. Rooms are neat and clean. AC and fan works. Hot and cold water is also available in bathroom. Tv is there in the room but no active dish subscription. Even though AC works, it's very old and low capacity. Having 3-4 doormats would have helped for better experience. Mini fridge is there in room and works well. Pool is just 4 foot deep, do not dive and get injured. Parking is a pain here. Even though parking ia behind the resort, you need to go around for 1 km through narrow gullies to reach. Getting the car out from parking is equally painful.

Overall, the hotel is good for stay. We got a quote of 13k from oyo for 2 rooms for 3 days but at hotel it was just 1k per room per day. If possible enquire directly with hotel once for better rates.

Calangute beach is walkable distance. With 10-15 mins walk, Baga beach is also accessible.

Worth the money if you can get a room for 2/3 people under...
