Treebo Premium Dona Eliza — Hotel in Goa

First the Good things- |1. The location- its location is probably its main USP, the hotel is situated right over the main market area, approximately700-800 mtrs from Calangute Beach main entrance. |2. The Pool- The hotel comes with a nice pool, so leisure time can be well spend.|3. Rooms- The rooms are spacious and well appointed. They are clean and they do the cleaning if asked for the same during your stay.||Now the Not so good things-||1. Room Service- Although they have provided tea maker and ready to make tea /coffee items there is no room service in the hotel as they don't have any in house restaurant. ||2. Breakfast- The staff struggle to serve breakfast in their pool side dining hall if 3 to 4 sets of guest comes at the same time. The items served for breakfast are okeyish but they are very slow in re-filling the items. The most annoying part is they stop serving everything at 10.30 AM dot even if last of the guests are sitting, who might have come much before the cut off time i.e. 10.30 AM and may require something. Very bad service ethics I must say. They removed the tea flask when we were there. It was a struggle to get a cup of tea.||3. Weird condition- They have a list in each room stating that they will charge the cost of new bed covers/towels etc if any kind of dirt mark / tattoo mark etc is found on these items given for your use. The same is being told to us and it is mentioned in entry document which we have to sign. Room

As I experienced with Treebo in past 2/3 locations. Room size are always quiet big enough with all essentials like AC, Queen size bed, dressing table, cupboard, teapoy and sofa, hot water kettle, tea, coffee, mugs glasses, toiletries, big balcony with chairs and table, 24 hrs hot water

Surrounding and Ambience

All walls of the room and common area are decorated with good paintings. Swimming pool and the area is clean and facilated with shacks, changing room, shower, green lawn (artificial), decorated with nice plants. Privacy maintained by nice decorative and high partition from surrounding establishment's. Ample space for car and bike parking. Bike and car on rent just in front of the hotel. Hotel location is in market 5 minutes walking distance to Calangute beach. MacDonald outlet is at front side of the hotel building.

Service

Reception is very attentive. Morning breakfast is very tasty and quick.4/5 variety of food every day. Hotel don't have restaurant but they out source chef team for breakfast and they are really good

Cons

1 As mentioned above Hotel don't have restaurant so you can not order food in room from hotel you need to depend on service like swiggi, zomato etc or you need to go out for food 2 Hotel don't have travel desk

One of my best stay in Goa. A perfect budgeted and semi luxurious stay at Goa. We checked in on 28 Feb 2021, and the guy Ivan, welcome us to stay. All check in formalities completed smoothly. Then headed towards room no. 203, 206. By looking the rooms we found a specious and semi luxury type and beds are quite comfortable and bathroom was very specious and perfectly cleaned ans sanitized. We had a specious balcony as well and properly ventilated. Now comes complementary break fast. Before staying this property, in all the reviews people mentioned their breakfast was worst and they only provide continental food. This is completely wrong, as they provided indian breakfast with mouth watering items. On 01 March they provided Poori, Chole, Poha, bread butter, Jam, milk cornflex, boiled egg, bread omlet, cut water melon, orange juice, tea, coffee etc too impressive. Like that they provided all Indian snacks till the time we stayed. All the staff are superb and very well behaved. Also would like to mentioned Irfan, who is managing in 2nd shift was very nice guy and quick in action. Really impressed the always smiling faces of Ivan and Irfan. Will definitely visit this place in future. Since we are vegetarian so the property is near to all vegetarian restaurants. Please check this property once before finalizing...
