Serenity by the Sea Beach Resort — Hotel in Goa

Whilst impressed with communication before visit we were disappointed overall. Positives: The Pool was clean and useful. We liked the Wet room also. Excellent location, a very big plus. Restaurant attached was good. Negatives: Bed linen and towels were threadbare and badly stained, although it was clear they had been washed. There were insufficient Sunbeds. There are 18 rooms and 7 good sunbeds and 3 broken ones. We managed to get Sunbeds 3 days of 16. Towels were put out to reserve by some guests, it is not a holiday when you have to set an alarm to get up and put a towel out. When queried we were advised that new Sunbeds were being ordered for next season. It was then advised that new ones would now be ordered, but then due to the Coronavirus there were problems with supply from China. I do not understand why you would wait for next season, it shows lack of concern for current and future clients of this season. ||Staff were polite and helpful although it was off putting to hear restaurant and resort staff hawking and spitting. ||Could easily be a 4+ if a few easy...

Just returned from spending 3 weeks here and can say we were well looked after. The rooms are basic and lack storage especially hangers and drawers if you're staying more than a few days but we managed to adapt. Our room was cleaned every day, towels changed daily and bedding changed every other day. Good shower room with plenty of hot water. Good A/C as well as a fan and bottles of water provided daily. This holiday was booked 3 years ago and throughout the difficulties of the time Judith was in touch with my requests to cancel and rebook. The manager Clitta was so helpful arranging a taxi for us from/ to the airport, suggesting places to visit and making transport arrangements for us, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel also provides a laundry service which works out around 50p an item and is a very good, quick service. Location is excellent, a couple of minutes walk to the beach and the many restaurants on the main road as well as a local money exchange shop less than 2 minutes walk away. Definitely good...

Just back from a lovely vacation spent at Serenity by the Sea Beach resort Candolim, Goa. .. Would rate 5 STARS for my experience with the hotel owner and the staff right from the day I booked my hotel. The hotel looks the same as the photos displayed on the website. The rooms and specially the toilet was very clean... There were NO stains or any BAD odour.. The swimming pool was clean even when the occupancy was full. Linen were changed on a daily basis and so were the toiletries replenished without any reminders. Staff were friendly and courteous.. Manager (Jayesh) was also very helpful.. Accommodated our request for late checkout without any extra cost. Suggestion: Please start room service Please keep a mini cooler / fridge in the room
