Hotel Gilbert By The Universe Hotels — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

Arrived at hotel reception and was asked for passports to copy and said I would wait, however 10 minutes later I had to ask if they were finished, which they were and the passports were in pigeon hole for room. We were sitting a few metres in front of the staff, with no other guests appearing g whilst there, so no excuse to leave us for 10 minutes.||||Location isn't great either, as certainly not centrally located for visiting the centre of Verona. ||||Quality of food at breakfast was also quite poor, although there was a good variety to choose from.||||Barman was friendly, although bar closed very early.||||As we arrived at the airport we realised that we had left 2 nespresso cups that we had purchased in Verona costing €21. I wrote to the hotel and they advised they had them but the quotes to courier were more expensive than the cups eventually, I was offered a relatively small price to courier, which the hotel could easily have covered from a customer service perspective, however they chose to advise that I'd they did this with everyone the costs would accumulate. ||||Having spent 4 nights there and also spending money at the bar, surely the cost of €7 could have been absorbed, but the hotel chose not to do so.||||Overall, this hotel certainly does not merit a 4...

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 A Wonderful Stay in the Lap of the Himalayas! We had an amazing experience staying at this hotel in Manali. The location was perfect — surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and close to all major attractions Mall Road.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and cozy, with a balcony offering a spectacular view of the snow-capped peaks. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful — always ready with a smile and quick service.

The food at the in-house restaurant was fresh and delicious — both local Himachali dishes and regular Bengali meals. The hot water supply and Wi-Fi were consistent, even in the cold weather. Considering the low price, this is one of the best hotel for stay. Mr D.C. Raina is excellant person. As requested, he provided hot drinking water and tea in morning. Once you come to this hotel, you dont need to worry. Everything is taken care of by person here. Not only, he is good in talkjng terms, he provides excellent service. I really want people to try this hotel and experience the service which you dont even get hotels booked online. I stayed here 3 days.
