At Darjeeling Steamers, the butter garlic momos and chicken rice are truly exceptional dishes that showcase the richness and depth of flavors in Darjeeling cuisine. The butter garlic momos are a delightful twist on the classic dumplings, with a perfect balance of creamy butter and robust garlic flavors that elevate the tender dumplings to a whole new level of indulgence. The chicken rice, on the other hand, is a hearty and satisfying dish that boasts tender pieces of perfectly seasoned chicken nestled in fragrant, aromatic rice. It’s disheartening to see how some places start strong but compromise heavily on quality once they gain popularity. The only redeeming features were the charming garden and a friendly dog lounging outside, otherwise, there was little to enjoy.
I truly hope the team takes feedback seriously and makes improvements. Darjeeling deserves better...
