We booked through booking. com two deluxe double rooms with breakfast for two nights at goroomgo Hotel Samiru Manali.||||I can not believe how disappointing the whole experience has been.||||We called the hotel after making the booking and they informed us we need to pay 4000 rupees for the two rooms to insure their booking. As we were using booking.com we didn't hesitate and paid the advance. But we was so wrong to do this.||||The day of our arrival we got a call about 12pm saying the hotel has had some water problem so please to vikrant as your booking will be there.||||We said we booked hotel with you and we will discuss when we get there. We were travelling from Punjab so it was over 8 hours journey. This call added distress to all of us.||||When we got to Manali we tried to get to the hotel by car as they said they had parking. But Google maps took us to a tight alley so we had to reverse the car out. We didn't find the hotel.||||We called the hotel and they said go to Seraj International which was about 2km away.||As we were already stressed from the long journey we went to the hotel and it was worse than any hotel I have seen. It doesn't even deserve a rating.||||After a heated call to the hotel again we were then told to go to New Ambika International.||||So again we came back into town and visited this hotel. Upon arrival we were told there is no booking for us. After a heated discussion and phone call they said they can give us two rooms tomorrow and for today stay in the opposite Ambika. This hotel was worse than the first hotel.||||The whole experience was making one of our travellers sick and was feeling poorly.||||After many heated calls we asked for a refund as the whole experience was the worst ever.||||Reluctantly the guy Gupta on the phone refunded our money. The whole process took over two hours and wasted our time and excitement to come on holiday to Manali.||||Booking . This is one of the worst hotel I have ever stayed. You can refer the actual pics that I have uploaded than referring to the hotel uploaded pics. There is zero maintenance of the rooms all they are concerned is about money not the service to the guest. Even the waiters there are so lazy that I was not given a towel that was told to change as it was dirty probably not even washed properly. The fans too there are probably not cleaned after it was brought. Also please note - However if you still decide to proceed to book, don’t take breakfast options as it’s of no use. You will be wasting another 300rs for nothing. For me I was not provided with the breakfast on the first day although it was promised to keep it ready and packed before I started my sightseeing. That guy in the reception told breakfast option couldn’t be cancelled after booking because they want to make only money and not customer support or satisfaction.
Overall, I would suggest anyone looking for hotels to choose a wiser hotel because starting cost of most of the hotels are from 2.5k Do check for others with the same cost if you are under a budget, this particular one is not worth a penny in that.
