Hotel The Conifer — Hotel in Great Himalayan Range

We, family of four, stayed in the family suit in The Conifer Hotel on 18 & 19th June 2024 for our Manali visit. It was pleasant surprise the moment we walked in the room. Wonderful fragrance, superbly clean & comfortable master and the children bedrooms, clean washrooms; and an exotic view of the mountains and the conifer trees from the balcony which stole our hearts. It felt like a home away from home. The Hotel is located in the premium & peaceful Log Huts area of Manali, (opposite to Log Huts, HPTDC) which is approximately 2 km away from the usual hustle bustle of the Mall Road. You can easily catch an Auto Rickshaw from the hotel corner to any of the tourist attractions and back. Mata Hidimba Devi Temple is just walking distance. The ambience of the rooms was so good that for some time we didn't even want to go out for sightseeing! :-). Room service was on the dot. The Breakfast and Dinner had many options, and the food was tasty. Generous supplies of Water Bottles, Tea/Coffee/Sugar pouches with an Electric Kettle in the room was a nice gesture. |Mr. Ajay & Mr. Rohit were very helpful and went the extra mile to recommend hotel references for our onwards journey. We had a delightful three-night stay at The Conifer -- and we would have stayed longer, if the hotel hadn't been fully booked up already. The manager, Rahul, was friendly and super helpful, and his staff are also lovely -- very ready to bring us whatever we needed, and friendly too.

Our room was spacious and super comfortable, with a large attached bathroom. Everything in the room worked perfectly, which is not always the case, as any experienced traveler knows. We liked the private balcony looking onto a splendid mountain view.

Breakfast was included in our tariff, and was always fresh and abundant. I enjoyed paratha and curd particularly -- the curd was always fresh and tasty.

We used the hotel's laundry service and were very pleased and relieved to get our laundry back the same day (give it in early in the morning, or the night before).

The location of Hotel The Conifer is wonderful. It's a very quiet area high above most of Manali, and close to the famous Hadimba Temple, a historic and beautiful temple in a lovely wooded setting. The Conifer is also close to the entrance to Manali Nature Reserve -- walk through the reserve to get to New Manali and the Mall. It's a much nicer walk than...

I stayed in the hotel for two nights (30th Mar and 31st Mar-19) The hotel is in a great location and the view is superb from the balcony. Pleasant and hospitable staff, would like to thank Mr Ajay Panday specifically for paying absolute attention for guiding me throughout the trip and ensuring we enjoyed the trip fully. A smiling face, anxious to assist and absolutely prompt to help- these experiences make the stay worth the bucks. Kudos to the other staff members and Rahul too. Good show guys.||The room facilities were quite good. The bed was huge and could easily accommodate the three of us. We were also allowed an extended check-out for about two hours.||The only one point I didn’t like is, its located on height where no frequent transport available for market\Mall road etc. ||I will 100 out of 100 marks to Hotel Conifer (log huts) undoubtedly!!...
