Housr as an organization does not have any set policy wrt the number of times they increase the rent in a year. There is no limit to the number of times they increase the rent and screenshots attached below are the proof. Issue 1: Intimation on effective rent increase received 15-20 days from the effective date whereas the contract and real-life practice is to atleast intimate the tenants 30 days in advance. Issue 2: There are 2 SS attached. First SS is of mail received from resident manager about increase in rent since march. Please note that no amount is ever discussed and it is directly imposed on the residents. If you dont accept, you will be asked to vacate the property with no where to go. All of us at Housr have faced this. Issue 3: Come June, they suddenly remember about a GST provision which has been there for 6+ months now and was there WHEN THEY INCREASED RENT IN MARCH. When we had confronted about the applicability of GST rate on serviced accommodation, it was told that rent increase in March is the final one and it was promised to us that there will be no impact of GST at all in the rent. THE RENT HAD BEEN INCLUSIVE OF GST ALL THIS WHILE. but looks like, they dont adhere to what they say. Effectively, I as a resident has seen his rent increase from 34,000 +3000 (March Increase) 37,000 (Total) 4,440 (July Increase) 41,440 (Total) So, all in all, My rent has been increased by 22% in 4 months. This is the predatory practice being followed by them - all in the name that "EVEN IF YOU LEAVE, WE HAVE ENOUGH DEMAND HENCE YOUR OPINION DOES NOT MATTER" and mind you, this is my 16th month at Housr. I only continued after March because it was promised that there would not be any increase in next 12 months but here we go!
Hence , folks please be super careful and know this well in advance that, you can find your rent increased suddenly at any day...
Read moreHousr is the most unprofessional company I have interacted with. They have many middle men who will lure you to their property and then you are about the make a payment they will start changing the agreed terms. The middle men have no say and you are stuck in the mess.
I had agreed to move in the sector 28 1bhk so called luxury place to move into august. Everything was finalised and i was about to make the token payment. and suddenly they are saying i should move in July itself. I am stuck in the middle with thinking everything is finalised and told my landlord that i am moving out only to be in this mess.

Read moreGo for it!! have stayed here for 2 months in JUne and July.... they place is a perfect co-living space. Rooms are clean, well maintained and cleaned on daily basis. They also have a laundry service and one may opt for breakfast and dinner package. The meals are really good. The place is fresh and well maintained that way. Security is always there and I personally saw no issues with safety. They have a manager on the property (in my time it was Karan). He was always around and helpful with any query. if you are alone in Gurgaon, go for this place... better than renting an...
