THIS PUB CHEATS ITS CUSTOMERS!! *Alert: they have two menus, you order looking at prices from one menu and then they bill you from another menu which has higher prices written. * Me and my friends went here for a girls night dinner on a Saturday and ordered from a physical menu they handed over to us. The red flags for us was when on our bill some drinks we had ordered were billed at a much higher rate than we remember being mentioned on the menu. When we asked the server the same, they refused the possibility. We then asked for the menu to be shown and to our surprise we were handed a similar looking menu but a different menu with different pricing. Since it was towards the end of the night, they had literally cleared the old menu form all their tables and were only circulating the second menu because mostly people were going to end their nights there and were gonna be calling for bills than to order. Why we were very sure that the menu was different was because we exactly remembered where some of our things were ordered were mentioned in the menu, because we had taken quite sometime to find them on the menu. Something as simple as a ginger ale was printed somewhere in the corner of the first menu and was priced at Rs. 95 but we were billed Rs. 145 for it. Similarly, an LIIT was on the first menu for Rs. 495 but we were billed Rs. 525 for it. The manager and a man who had been standing at the welcome lectern near the door told us off and said that we are making this up. And then when they realised we had caught them in their scheme of cheating, they became defensive and started offering puny discounts on the bill to keep us shut. It was not about the money for me, it was cheating a customer. It is very convenient for managers and owners to feel that people don’t remember things they order, especially after a drink or two and hence can pull such a thing off. I nonetheless paid full amount because I did not point out their unfair means of business for some puny discount but to let them realise that people remember what they see and order.
