One of the worst experiences I have ever had as a customer. Listing some of the many shady things that Settl carries out: Changing terms of refund of security deposit AFTER agreements are signed Providing wrong bank details, thereby forcing specific payment modes Passing on transaction fees that are supposed to be borne by Settl - since proper bank details are not given, a proper NEFT transfer is not possible Always harassing by redoing lease documents and making multiple phone calls threatening to evict if the revised agreements are not signed Lack of security - my bike parked on Settl premises has gone missing Lack of support with security - Settl took many days to review and share CCTV footage of a theft incident, thereby actively hindering legal processes Lack of security - door locks don’t work properly Raising rents in the middle of valid rental agreements Lack of transparency in electric bills Poor quality and taste of food They lock you out of the Settl Connect app, which is required for almost everything, when things get heated in the middle of extension or a complaint

The customer service agent Kiran, with whom I was dealing with all the formalities for settling in, didn't inform the property manager that I was coming today, while he told me to reach the property. I came to Settle, sec 31, gurgaon vienna building, at 3 pm with all my luggage, and no one allowed me to move in today. I left the place where I was living, I submitted all my documents to settle, signed the agreement , paid the amount, and then what i have to face, standing in front of the building with all my luggage, not getting permission to go in. This the communication mistake on behalf of that customer service agent kiran. Is this the kind of experience you would create with someone who stays with you for the first time? I will not recommend any of my friends to join as it's the worst experience. I am a single working girl, where would I go in the middle with my luggage. My money is stuck with you guys. I lived there for 9 months and when I tried to renew my contract, they increased the rent from 10 k to 18 k. 8 thousand extra every month. So, I planned to move out. I paid all my dues, completed my contract, but it’s been more than a month, they haven’t paid my security amount. Total was 10 k, deducted 7 k, agreed to pay 2999 back. Sent an email but no money. They are fraud. Food is pathetic. Don’t live there, they will rob your money and will never pay your security amount back.
