SOCA - Brewery & Lounge — Restaurant in Gurugram District

We never write a bad review for a place but need to write about this restaurant to surely avoid.... @Soca in Star Mall. Being parents of a toddler, we hardly get a chance to go out on our own, just us. So after a long time, we thought of having a leisurely lunch, just us two, followed by a screening at the PVR in the same mall. We arrived a little before 1pm and placed our order promptly. The same was taken and after 20 or so minutes we were informed about the unavailability of two of the three dishes we ordered. We modified the order according to the available items, and after 15-20 mins, again we were asked about one of the dishes, whether we want a boneless or with bone option. We availed the boneless option. Time passes by, our cocktails arrive with no food in sight, not even the appetizer. Finally, after an hour of waiting, the main chicken dish presented was with bone. The waitress answered that the dish doesn't come in a boneless option, and we accepted, even though already annoyed by then at the delay and the miscommunication. Famished, we quickly cut through to see the most disgusting sight, raw, uncooked chicken in the centre. Astounded and disgusted at the same time, we demanded that the food be taken away and the bill be presented for the cocktails. All throughout this atrocity of a service, there was no sign of the appetizer. We quickly paid the bill and walked off with not even a single morsel consumed, a very first for us. P.S they still charged us the service charge, in spite of the abominable service.

Would never recommend this bistro to anyone. With prices to fit any top notch bistro, the food and service...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The ambience was warm and inviting, with tasteful décor and a comfortable seating arrangement that made for a relaxing meal.

The menu offered a great variety of dishes, catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I tried a few items, and each one was flavorful and freshly prepared. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was served hot and presented beautifully.

The staff was courteous, attentive, and quick to respond to requests. Despite being busy, they ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the meal. Service was prompt, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was commendable.

Don't go by the postive reviews,may cause you regret later.

This place is agile enough to accept bookings on Swiggy, even collect cover charge from swiggy.

But when you tell them you are making payment from Swiggy, then they will say that accepting payment from Swiggy platform does not come within their rules.

When asked a simple question as to why do they list their place of Swiggy, if they don't want to accept payment, they will say that discount is applicable on selected items but not on all items. But why is this point not clearly mentioned while booking itself that the following items are not included.

The biggest scam is even if you make payment by Swiggy, then they will again make you do direct payment into their own account.

Also there are issues in their billing system, will suggest you to ensure that there are no double billings of items, as it happened with me.
