I checked in around 1 PM on a SUNDAY. Post the check-in, I thought of having lunch at their restaurant called, JONATHAN's Kitchen.
When I went there, the restaurant associate pushed me for the SUNDAY BRUNCH prized at INR 2,200/- + TAXES. I clearly informed her that I will look at the BRUNCH spread & may not opt for it given that I had gone into the restaurant looking for "ala carte" option. But she immediately allotted me a table assuming that I will take the BRUNCH option.
Unfortunately, I didn't feel like having the BRUNCH option after a careful consideration of the dishes laid out. The spread was too much for me to opt for the BRUNCH option. I wasn't all that hungry to try out the SUNDAY BRUNCH.
So, I informed the restaurant associate that I will go for "ala carte" option. The moment she heard this, she immediately informed me that I CANNOT sit in the restaurant & should shift into the adjacent dingy BAR like venue to have my "ala carte" item/s ordered. She immediately tried to take me to the adjacent venue.
This option was not acceptable to me, so I stormed out. The restaurant manager realising the gravity of the situation suddenly changed his tune & invited me back to the restaurant! Phew.... absolutely, no consistency in policy matters, eh?
I didn't take up his offer & went to a different restaurant to have my food.
The situation was salvaged by the F&B Manager, Sri Sunil Kumar Mohapatra who met me face to face, heard me out. Thanks to his personal intervention, I cooled down & got down to enjoying my stay. His deputy, Mr Subhmoy took most of the brunt of my verbal attack post the episode. Credit to him too.
Sunil Kumar Mohapatra is a highly experienced resource who has worked at various properties & is highly CLIENT ORIENTED.
My visit to this restaurant the next morning for breakfast was a PLEASANT experience thanks to SAHIL's excellent handling of a GOOF UP. Sahil is a highly competent restaurant associate. He has the ability to think OUT OF BOX solutions.
The room are "FAIRLY OK", nothing great. Fairfield ain't a match for the other MID BUDGET hotel options in India.
Overall, I would say that this is my 1st & last stay at Fairfield. In fact, given that I had a bad experience with Sheraton Bengaluru in 2021, I think I will boycott the MARRIOTT range of properties in general. Marriott group hasn't figured out the psyche of the Indian clientele like me.
For me, nothing to beat the TAJ Group & the Oberoi group in terms of client orientation. 💪

During my recent stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Gachibowli, I was truly impressed by the remarkable hospitality and impeccable service provided by the entire team. From the moment I arrived until my departure, every interaction was marked by warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
Check-In Experience: Upon arrival, I was greeted by Anandit at guest services with a warm smile and efficient check-in process. His attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort set the tone for the rest of my stay. His knowledge about local attractions and willingness to assist with any queries made my check-in seamless and welcoming.
Room Comfort and Cleanliness: The room was spotless, and the meticulous attention to detail by the housekeeping team was evident. Anandit, the Executive Housekeeper, deserves special mention for ensuring the room was not only clean but also perfectly organized with a welcoming touch. The daily upkeep and the little gestures, like the neatly arranged toiletries and the fresh scent in the room, made the stay extraordinarily comfortable.
In-Room Dining Experience: Sagar from the in-room dining team provided exceptional service. The food was delivered promptly and was always hot and fresh. Sagar’s recommendations from the menu were spot-on, and he went out of his way to cater to my dietary preferences. The quality and taste of the food exceeded my expectations, and his courteous demeanor made dining in my room a delightful experience.
Overall Management and Staff Coordination: Pradeep, the Duty Manager and Anandit played a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of my stay were smooth and enjoyable. His leadership and dedication to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my visit. Pradeep’s proactive approach in addressing any concerns and his ability to manage the team effectively contributed significantly to the overall positive experience.
Conclusion: The Fairfield by Marriott, Gachibowli, stands out not just for its excellent facilities and prime location, but more so for its outstanding staff who go above and beyond to make every guest feel valued and cared for. Thanks to Sagar, Sunil, and Pradeep for making my stay memorable with their exceptional service and warm hospitality. Especially Anandit, thank you for taking extra care for my parents, it means a lot! . I look forward to returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone...
