Can be managed for one day because you don't care much for most of the things and move ahead. I stayed here for almost a month and had pathetic experience every day.
room card keys stop functioning after 12-14 hours. We had 3 keys as we were 3 people with different timings and if you set your key, other keys stop working. Reception guys had no clue and we kept struggling for 1& days.
very less bowls, plates, spoons, mugs during breakfast. You've to wait for atleast 5 minutes to get em. Once you get the cutlery, then the food gets over. Another 10 minutes wait for its refill.
breakfast is till 10:30 but if you go at 10:15 hopping that you can fill you plate and eat easily then that's not gonna happen cuz the items are over by 10 and its not gonna get refilled.
staff is mostly good except in one case where the guy started talking to someone else while i was speaking. I waited in front of him to get back his attention but then he left.
rooms are manageable for 1 day trip as its very very small.
don't have any expectations in terms of quick service.
excess salt in food items from Jonathan kitchen. But very good ambience.
if you reach at 10:26 and ask for omelette, the staff says that it's only available till 10:25. They are very particular about their timings. However this time is not mentioned anywhere.
Good points Polite staff Clean rooms
So, maybe it was good sometime back but given the current scenario, it's not worth it. It needs more staff. Most of the people staying here for long durations were fed up with the services.
I rarely write bad reviews but particularly my breakfast experience every day forced me...
Read moreRooms are fine. Breakfast is great, goes from 6:30-10:30am and offers a lot of variety. The staff was friendly, but service was very poor: every one of our requests required significant persistence on our end. For example, housekeeping took our towels despite the hanger saying not to, and they didn't leave any new ones. We called, then called again and had to wait over 25 minutes to get the replacements. The same thing (two or three calls + long wait) happened when we requested fresh towels and refills of the tissue box or toilet paper. We would request cab transfers, and the front desk would tell us to sit and be comfortable, but nothing would happen (that is, no cab would be called) until we asked a second or third time. The cable TV cut out multiple times in our room and in the fitness room. It took multiple calls and trips to the front desk to resolve the disruptions and even so, they recurred several times over the next several days. Laundry was also unreliable. They commit to 12 hour service, but we didn't get ours back until 48 hours later. They waived the fee for the laundry service, but this happened to several other guests as well.
If you're just going to stay for a night or two, this hotel is probably fine. But if you're staying for multiple days or anticipate using more than the most basic amenities/services, opt for the Hyatt in Gachibowli instead -- their room rates are comparable of you book early enough and their service and facilities are...
Read moreNice, cozy boutique star hotel in the mid-budget category, but mostly suited to travelers on work. And that's their majority custom. The breakfast buffet is decent and just right for those on work, not too large or small in terms of variety and spread. Food is good. Rooms are good and comfortable but sometimes they forget to put a few items which they promptly get you once you remind them. During my stay there was no hand wash soap in the dispenser, apparently they ran out of supply but they had enough soap bars as replacement if you needed. AC was not very responsive or effective. So maintenance needs some looking into especially given the fact it is not a very old property and part of a reputed chain. One downside is though they have smoking rooms, they don't have a smoking area within the property for those who like non-smoking rooms but need to step out for the occasional smoke. Bathrooms are nice and not cramped like a lot of boutique hotels which try to cut bathroom size for no good reason, this one scores in this area. But totally western, with no concept of tap, bucket or mug in the bath area, the shower head is the only source of water in the bath area but the flooring is of stone and hence not slippery. All in all, a decent business hotel in the economy range in close proximity to the tech parks and the new "Financial District"...
