New York Slice Pizza — Restaurant in Hyderabad

Hey Epicures! We have recently been to New York slice pizza. They serve some authentic American pizzas. You just have to hold it, fold it and have it! We had fries,garlic knots, double down town veg pizza, tandoori palace (non - veg), teriyaki chicken, pin wheels and pesto chicken sandwich.

If you’re a person who love pesto sauce you can try out pesto chicken sandwich and pin wheels.

Try out tandoori palace it was delish! It consists of tandoori chicken, onions and roasted red peppers on top. Price depends on size of pizzas.

Alfredo seasoned chicken pasta was also good with exotic veggies, homemade pesto sauce , olives and smoked chicken 🍗 it costed around 289/-

From wings you can try teriyaki chicken wings. It’s basically chicken chunks mixed with pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese with onions and green capsicums.

From beverage you must definitely try ginger mint punch it was so refreshing to drink it with all these stuff !

From desserts chocolate brownie and Oreo surprise were perfect. Chocolate brownie were served for just 99/- 2 persons can have it sufficiently.

Never have I ordered so many times from a pizza place that wasn't a major delivery chain. New York Slice Pizza may not be serving authentic New York style pizza, but what they do serve is pretty brilliant.

This particular location doesn't have a lot of parking. Even though they have plenty of seating, it was obvious that most of their orders were for delivery.

I highly recommend the Fire Island Veg and Margherita Pizzas. There's no doubt that all of their pizzas must be good. The reason being - their base to sauce to cheese ratio. I'm a firm believer that ratio is key to a great pie. The base is the right amount of crispy and soft. The tomato sauce is of the optimum tang. The cheese quantity - perfect.

I would recommend delivery rather than dining at the restaurant. We had to give our order 4 times and it took around 10 minutes to do so even though we were the only party there - they're not used to people dining at the restaurant. Also, the cash counter didn't let us know that an offer was available for our order - they weren't proactive. Fortunately, we did notice the offer mentioned...

We went for order pickup and were quite upset with the experience. The man wasn't wearing mask and he was sniffling. The restaurant had a stench inside that was hard to sit through.

He had messed up the order twice. Once he gave only 1 jumbo pizza slice instead of the ordered 2. Second time, he didn't give the entire order because he thought it was a clubbed combo order [the combination of which actually isn't available on Zomato to begin with]. We had to explain all this to him and had to wait for 10 more minutes.

COVID is already ramping up again for which we thought takeaway would limit the time we'd have to spent out and about. But due to the service person's ineptness we had to spend a lot of time at the restaurant. Him not wearing a mask or gloves while handling the food made the experience worse.

The pizza tasted charred and the wedges were too oily to eat.

We were barely able to enjoy the meal after this. I'd suggest skipping this place until it's...
