Hello,||||I would like to bring to your notice that during our recent visit to Hyderabad during Dec 27-Dec 30, 2016 we had a very bad and shocking experience with the Hotel Room accomodation.||||We were booked in your Hotel - Maharaja Classic Inn situated at Kachiguda, Next to Kumar Theater, Hyderabad, Telangana, 500027 (INDIA).||||We were assigned the Room 233 and 234 on the second floor.||||Since we had shifted to this room in the night we did not check much about the bathroom and the Room Window Sliding.||||However, in the morning around 7am when I was having shower, to my shock I saw there was one person peeping from the bathroom window glasses. I could see his eyes and that he was wearing some chef cap. Immediately I came out of the bathroom and tried to check from the Main Room Window sliding and I could see there was a Door wide open right opposite the Bathrooom window.||||I went down to the reception and complained about it to the Front Desk Manager but it seems he was least interested as he kept saying that there is no such opening or door through which anybody can enter. But I was 100% sure as I had clicked snaps of the open door. I waited for the Manager to call me but he did not call me during the whole day.||||Next day again when the Hotel Manager did not co-operate, I went up again to him to take me to that door and to my surprise, that door lead to the Hotel Kitchen area.||||When I asked them who was on duty during the 7am time-slot, one of the kitchen person mention that a guy named "Santosh" was on duty during that time. They did not tell me his full name and said that he has gone to the bathroom and will call me once he is back.||||But the Front desk Duty Manager tried to cover up the matter saying he is a new guy and that he is not there today.||||It is such a shameful and bad thing and would have been worse if instead of me any of my female family members was using the bathroom during that time.||||I would like the Hotel Authorities to apologize me for the inconvenience and mental torture it had created for me and my wife as for the next few days we had to keep the bathroom light off while taking bath. Also when the bathroom was to be used by my wife I had to keep a watch from the Main room window to check if someone was there standing outside.||||I want an immediate action on this from the Hotel Authorities failing which I will have no option but to lodge a police complaint again the Hotel Authorities and the Hotel Staff.||Also I will not refrain from publishing this incident in the local and other leading newspaper.||||You can contact me on my cell phone - 09833311770 and let me know what steps the Hotel Authorities will be taking to avoid a repeat of such incidents.||||It is such a shameful act by the Hotel Kitchen Staff and also irresponsible attitude by the Hotel Authorities to allow a door access which leads to the bathroom window area.||||||With Regards,||Allan Pereira||||MiraRoad, Mumbai,...

Read moreI stayed in this hotel 6 years back when it was called Raffles. Then it was a fantastic hotel with clean rooms, good service, sumptuous complimentary breakfast and lovely ambiance. With that nice experience in my memory I booked an a/c double room in the later version called Sun Shine Grand.in Jan 2016. In spite of booking this 4 months ago., the idiots at the reception took 1 and a half hrs to get my check in done. The room was full of cockroaches and had no bulb in the bath room. So I had to get the room changed. The new room was even worse and had no hooks or handles or hangers ant where in the room. Finally I opted for a more deluxe variety room. Here the a/c was not working. It turned out that there was a switch behind the room controlled by the staff. The compl BF was not served until I shouted at the staff. 2 nano idlis were put in front of me as if I were staying there free of cost. I stopped taking BF from there and started eating from out where good food was available. Hot water was limited. Then they switched of the a/c one day from 11 am to 12 midnight. When I told them that I would pay only non a/c charges they switched on the A/C from behind the room. Cleaning was unheard of there. All the 3 days I was there I could see the few guests who happened to drop in complaining on various problems there. Except for a guy by the name Sathya, all other employees were ignorant, irresponsible and unbearable. Then I came across Mr. Suresh Naidu, a consultant for the new owner, who told the employees to behave properly. No wonder this hotel has been running in huge loss for past few years, and has changed hands many times. Now it seems the owner of the building himself is planning to run it with a new name, Maharaja Cassic Inn. Who ever runs it, unless the useless employees are sacked immediately, ,nothing is going to work. People who don't know hospitality should not enter the hospitlaity industry. Best of luck to bechara Rajeswar Yadav ( or so I think is the name of the building owner). ...
