Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Money

I recently stayed at this hotel after booking a "classic room" online, choosing it based on the photos and details provided on the booking platform. However, upon arrival, I was shocked to be assigned a much smaller, dingy room that looked nothing like the pictures. When I raised this with the manager, he was dismissive and said that since I booked online, I was stuck with that room. He also informed me that there was no cancellation policy. Reluctantly, I had to pay an additional ₹500 just to upgrade to a decent room. I thought it would improve my stay, but unfortunately, things got worse.

Despite paying extra, my night was ruined by constant noise. Around 2 AM, people were laughing loudly, playing music, and creating a ruckus in the hallway, making it impossible for me to sleep. When I complained, the staff didn’t seem to care. It felt like there was no control over the hotel’s environment or concern for the guests’ comfort.

To make matters worse, the manager’s attitude was rude and unhelpful from the start, adding to the frustration. The overall experience was extremely disappointing, and I regret spending my money here. This hotel does not live up to its promises, and the management clearly doesn’t prioritize customer service.

I don’t know if it was the hotel guys or fabhotel that scammed us. But we paid an advance booking amount a day prior to confirm our booking, the hotel reception said they only received half the amount of the advance we sent. Tried to call fabhotel customer care but they were utterly useless. Second thing, according to the reception the room we booked didn’t even exist and we would have to upgrade to another room which obviously costs more. So now not only did we apparently have to pay the advance amount that was “missing” we had to pay more for another room.
