TGIB: The Grand Indian Buffet ( Pure Veg Family Restaurant ), Vaishali Nagar Jaipur — Restaurant in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

Recently I Have visited this buffet restaurant that is totally amazing. this Buffet serves amazing delicious food. They have a great ranges of starters to delicious food.

Ambiance:- This Buffet restaurant has a nice sitting area which u will get to see. Inside this restaurant you will get a nice jaipuri vibes here. As in their walls i have get to see some amazing famous jaipur places frames which is quite attractive for anyone. The Interior design is brilliant you will get some jaipur clutches hanging on the window design. In the buffet section you will get to see the Amazing chandeliers. In the rooftop area you will get a nice sitting area that is really good for the evening parties & events. From the rooftop area you will get to see a nice view of the city. I just totally love this place.

Presentation & Taste:- We have tried some delicious food:-

Starters

Hara Bhara Kebab with Spring Rolls:- These are served with green chutney and tge taste of them are relly good the hara bhara kebab is made with peanuts chunks, green veggies that gives a nice taste when we take a first bite. The Spring rolls are served with red spicy chutney and these are crispy & crunchy from outside & soft flavourful from inside.

Honey Chilli Potato & Chatpata Crispy Corns:- These both looks superb in presentation. both are crunchy and crispy that actually the right texture which i loved about them. The taste of it totally great just like that i loves to eat.

Dahi wale Patashi:- These patashi are made with curd, aloo stuffing, sweet red chutney & green chutney and served with sev on top. the taste is just amazing just like my favourite one.

Paneer Tikka:- The presentation is amazing served with green chutney. The Paneer tikka is crunchy from outside and soft from inside when i eat them it melts in the mouth perfectly.

Drinks:-

Blue Lagoon:- Its a perfect refreshing drinks that has a nice flavours. Green Apple Mojito:- Its a special mojito that has a nice flavour of green apple. Watermelon Mojito:- Its a great refreshing drinks for summers as it refreshes the mood. Orange Mojito:- This Mojito is served ith fresh mint leaves and lemon slices on top. Its a perfect mojito for a nice evening.

Main Course:-

Paneer Lababdaar & Butter Naan:- This combination is actually what i love to eat the taste is so great and tasty that i just loved it the paneer gravy is so good full of flavours in it. The Naan is amazing with yummy butter on top makes it more delicious.

Punjab Dal Tadka & Chana Masala:- These are the great one. I got the amazing aroma and flavours from them just loved these proper masala and taste got from them.

Fried Rice:- This rice is filled with delicious veggies and has an good enhancing flavours. i just totally loved it.

Hakka Noodles & Manchurian:- These combinations are the best one that i love this is great in taste.

Boondi Raita:- Its a nice end cool raita that is a good after the meal ends.

Desserts:- Gulab Jamun Chocolate Icecream

I recently dined at TGIB: buffet and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish! The starters and main courses they offered were absolutely fantastic, earning them a well-deserved 5-star rating.

The variety and quality of the starters were truly impressive. From crispy samosas to flavorful tandoori chicken, each bite was packed with deliciousness. The tangy chutneys and dips were the perfect accompaniment, adding an extra burst of flavor. The presentation of the starters was also excellent, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.

Moving on to the main courses, TGIB: buffet truly excelled. They offered an impressive array of dishes that catered to a wide range of palates. From traditional curries to sizzling kebabs, each dish was skillfully prepared and bursting with authentic flavors. The aroma that wafted from the buffet spread was enough to make my mouth water, and every single bite left me wanting more. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring the buffet was well-stocked and that everyone's needs were met.

Now, while I thoroughly enjoyed the starters and main courses, the dessert selection, particularly the moon daal halwa, fell a bit short for me. While it was decent, it didn't quite reach the same level of excellence as the rest of the meal. However, this in no way overshadowed the overall experience, as everything else was simply outstanding.

The ambiance of TGIB: buffet was warm and inviting, with a spacious and well-lit dining area. The staff was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the meal. The cleanliness and hygiene standards were also top-notch, which greatly added to the overall experience.

In conclusion, I highly recommend TGIB: buffet for those looking to indulge in a scrumptious and satisfying meal. The starters and main courses are simply divine, delivering a perfect balance of flavors and textures. While the dessert, like the moon daal halwa, was just okay, it did not diminish the overall quality of the dining experience. Starting of on positive notes, the ambience, theme, staff working there, easy booking and variety of food options were great. They even have some birthday party options as well. Coming to food, they had various food items, half of them tasted good, rest were satisfactory.

For context, we were 10 ppl with some of them having dietary restrictions (jain food), and this review is written for a visit in a monsoon night in Jul'22.

Firstly, the waiting time for starters was long.. like you had a set of items in a buffet to be prepared and served, and the spl request for jain food was made way long, but it took a lot of time. A single serving of starter of diff food items, was given for 6 ppl and as we took a single peice or some of it, it was over. They should understand the group size, and prepare accordingly (I had booked in the morning itself).

The taste, well most of them had a good taste, but some like the crispy corn was soggy, the chinese was not good and the main course vegetables was satisfactory. Even salads didn't had many options, which nowadays are easily provided by their competitors.

The welcome drink, soups and starters were limited. I have went to different Barbeques like OTB, BN, etc. Although they don't have strictly vegetarian options, but they still have a variety, and they charge almost similar to this.

Rooftops are great, but in the afternoon, coolers just don't work and they must invest in Portable ACs, so that hot afternoon or even some nights could be taken care of. Like the moisture lvl was already high, and we were greeted with breeze of cooler. Also, when eating hot and spicy food, you sweat, and coolers don't seem to work at the levels at which ACs do.

Concluding I must say that every places has its own flaws, and people often tend to highlight small flaws and don't appreciate what is good (I beganned with it btw). I am harsh on them because they are claiming to be the best veg restaurant, and they overall resching just satisfactory lvl made me go a little harsh on them.
