The worst hotel I have ever been to. We got there around 2 am as we had already talked to the manager and made a reservation but the people there didn't even know we were coming. The hotel is alarge old building and not at all maintained, they are in the process of renovating it cause you can see the road dug up and construction materials poorly laid out in and around the hotel premises. The breakfast was good but the bedroom on the third floor was terrible. We couldn't have a proper sleep cause one of the light inside the room couldn't be switched off. Tried switching off but couldn't even find the switch and the next day when one of the boys came to deliver our morning tea we asked him to o switch it off and he turned something in the switch box and blew my Apple iPhone charger ! Luckily my iPhone wasn't damaged but my charger was fried. They have massive electrical problems. Also the train that he delivered was cold and tasteless. Then the bathroom was suffocating the exhaust fan wasnt working even though the bathroom was huge but whatta waste. And omg the pillows🙄 the pillows were like filled with boulders instead of fluffy things, couldn't move my neck the next day after sleeping on it. All in all his is a terrible hotel the only problem is the management, they have to work on themselves or else they'll have to close down the property very soon. The place can be great a really good place but they have to work...
Read moreThis hotel is not for family or travellers on a pleasure trip. It may be ok for the people needing the hotel room for a few hours rest just before their journey but that is also difficult to get here.
Pros - There is nothing much really to write in pros, the food they serve is ok and wifi connection works nothing more than that.
Cons - The old fellow on the reception during the night hours is extremely rude and shrewd. It was hard for him to believe that we already paid for the room online through MMT. He was even enquiring as to how much we have paid. The room we were given was extremely dirty and small, smelling like a cheap bar. Restrooms/ toilets were no different with most of the toilet fittings broken. The blankets felt really dirty and full of dust. TV never worked. we had to ask for towels like 3 times. The room we got was facing the main road and we never got to sleep even for an hour. Its just too much of noise.
Seeing all this, even though I had two rooms for 3 nights and all paid beforehand, I checked out the next morning and lost close to INR 3500 for one room and MMT refunded the cost of the other room.
This is the worst hotel I ever spent a night...
