Hotel Jagdish Residency — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

Do be deceived by the Photos Hotel has shared over various platforms, reality can be different. Let's start with the Cons:

RATS RATS RATS 🐀 you read it right, there were rats in our room and when we complained about it the answer we got is "हमारे तो सर पर से पार होता है इसमें क्या कर सकते है" Unfortunately we had paid whole amount so couldn't checkout and were forced to stay in the same room.

Dirty Bed sheets and Pillow covers. When we returned from Mata Darshan there were RAT poop on our beds, we asked them to change the bedsheet and apply room freshner but they kept ignoring... bedsheet was changed the night before we checked-out

Delayed room services. We kept calling for water and room freshner which they kept ignoring.

Bathroom door would not close as the door knob was broken, the room kept smelling throughout.

AC was there in our room, although we didn't needed it but the AC was the growing home for Rats, dirty and stinky.

Out of 3 rooms, geyser of one of our room wasn't working and they didn't do anything about it. Neither did they changed our room or got the geyser repaired.

We found many Guests shouting at reception and instead of addressing there issue they were shouting on the guests and saying आप हमारे कस्टमर बिगाड़ रहे हो The location is very good and near the Main Market + Bus Stand.

The food offered in the Hotel is pocket friendly and good.

Cab services (if you have that added in the booking) This really helped us in dropping and picking from various locations...

3rd rated hotel for the price we booked for...I would rate it negative stars if possible.....we booked it for 1500/- trust me it's is the worst thing you can do!..

1. the rooms are very very dirty seems like living in a gutter

2. Staff is not at all cooperative

3. Room service does not exist....we asked them to clean our room and guess what they have done just mopped it and turned on the fans....no difference b/w before cleaned and after cleaned

4)Filled of house files through out the hotel and in the room

5. power cuts are usual...No lift backup during powercut and geysers does not work half of the time

6. no soaps provided...dirty bedsheets...dirty towels

7. Ac's are just for show.. they do not work

7)DO NOT BELIEVE THE PICTURE OF ROOMS THAT WAS UPLOADED BY THE HOTEL It's all opposite!

So at last, this is the worst decision that one can do by booking a Room at this...

Forced to give one star otherwise won’t be allowed to write. This is a dirty place to live. Many mag argue saying that you get what you pay for. But I am asking for just basic cleanliness which is not linked to a 5,4 or 3 star Hotel. We reached at 9 pm after a long journey only to find dirty rooms with dirty sheets & extremely dirty bathrooms. The service guys had to be paid separately & it took another 2 hours to get basic cleaning of bathrooms done. The rooms have broken light sockets & most of the lights do not work. The dining area is at the roof top & rats move around the place with complete liberty. The only plus points are - staff is sweet spoken, food is ok, hot water is available & there is transportation provided by the hotel to & from...
