Hotel Kanta International — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

This is a lodge n they charged 1800 per day. We entered and the mirror of the room was broken. we asked for a different room as we had a kid with us. The room we were allotted #208 had a window with the worst view i.e window of adjoining hotel just 2 feet from us. There was no mineral water. when we say they charged us 35₹ for a liter, hence we denied n got bottles from outside. Cable TV was not working and geyser dosent work if power outage is there. So for 2days we had to take cold shower. Food is pathetic too. I guess this place is good for those who dont have any experience with hotel. Also my kid vomited at night and finding nothing else immediately I used the towel to wipe it and they charged me for that towel. Hotel is located 3.5 km from the starting point Banganga, which is quite far so auto charged us 210 to go and coming back 210. Staff of the hotel are unprofessional.they don't even know how to make you feel welcome. It was like I don't care attitude. Washroom was dirty we had to call housekeeping to get it cleaned when we entered the room n all over the walls I could see bindis sticked which was not cleaned after the earlier customer left . Dust was everywhere including the cupboard so we could not keep clothes there. No hangers in the cupboard to hang clothes. No in room kettles for tea/ coffee. Such rooms should be available for not more than...

It's so amazing hotel. My description is nothing to it's features and hospitality. You have to visit the hotel to get it's real description. It's even under budget. We stayed in 4 bedded rooms for only 2000/- per night. The hospitality is too good. Instant services. And if I talk about view from hotel I would rate it 5 star. Even from your room you can see the path to Vaishno Devi and at night with path lights on it looks fantastic. Sharing a photo below although my camera is not too good, enjoy it. Now about food, it's finger licking good. It has pure veg dishes. Even onion and garlic is not served. Right now I am at home, but want to visit and stay in that hotel again. And yes, most important, 5G wi-fi is available. It's important because nowadays no one can live without internet and you can't use your sim made outside of Jammu or Kashmir. You have to use the wi-fi untill and unless you make a sim in J&K. And bathroom facilities are truly good. Overall you get your daily necessities...

Its a budget hotel so dont go with high expectations. The room which was assigned to us first was got missed by housekeeping staff post check out of earlier guest and given to us as it is. Even TV was broken, yes you read it right. Post complaint they have changed the room which took 20-30 mins.||||Room only have basic stuff ( Bed, table chair, TV,Almirah, side tables) washrooms just have towels, no toiletries. For rest everything you need to pay even for water bottle. Wifi work only in lobby. ||Good part is rooms are spacious, hotel has lift and its ar walking distance from Railway station. Front desk staff is helpful. ||||However restaurant manager seems to have big time attitude problem.
