OYO 72199 New Shalimar Hotel — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

I visited Srinagar in June 2023 for three days.. We booked online. Room pictures shown online is totally different. It's mentioned that they are providing free breakfast and parking facilities. But when we approached they denied it. Rooms are full of cockroaches and rats.beds and Carpets are unhygienic. Washroom are dirty and water lying there. When we told the person sitting there, he told us to vacant the rooms at midnight, but he refused to refund the money. They misbehaved with females also.Whole night we and our children were not sitting due to cockroaches and rats.At night our baby became sick. We searched for sikara so that we will go to the doctor. When we came back then again we were struggling to go back to room.||We will never recommend anybody to book new shalimar...

One of the WORST places ever! My horrible experience with this place. There are pimps roaming around the Dal lake ghats and one of them took me to this Shalimar hotel. Below are few pros and cons -

The rooms are extremely smelly and dirty. There’s no proper access of electricity Overpriced The windows are mostly broken Washrooms are so unhygienic and broken MAJOR - You need to call and wait every time you want to go outside because the hotel is situated opposite of Dal lake in the middle of a jungle type place.

The neighbors are very loud and can be easily heard from the rooms.
