Bhai, maza aagaya I have been to almost all the restaurants here in srinagar, I am a person who believes in quality be it a biryani which costs 600, I am ready to pay for it if the quality must be up to mark.

Very less of the restaurants here are actually living upto to the quality when the price is considered. You see it is not all about ambience and interior, restaurant business is a service industry, it is all about service and providing good service is the first and foremost thing which further comprises all the other things. I believe "The Vintage" is very much living upto that concept.

We ordered: 1.Continental dish: Lamb with cart sauce and thyme, it was so good, they have actually mastered the art of making mashed potatoes, I was surprised by the taste of it because it was a spot on taste I like in mashed potatoes, definitely 4.8 ⭐ to that dish, but presentation of the dish could have been better.

Lasuni Fish: Another great tasting dish, since it was lasuni(garlic), I was expecting a flavor of garlic, but here as well, the garlic was not that much it would hit my buds, 4.9 ⭐ here.

Hyderbadi Ghosth Biryani: Definitely maintaining the authenticity, not like any other restaurant here who put kaju kishmish and fry it with rice and call it a biryani, that is a fraud in the open, It was again a good mix of spices not to less and nor too much. Loved it. 5 ⭐

Filter Coffee: Not the best I had, the decoction was not done properly, I could not really get a taste of filter coffee, they need to improve a lot there, just getting a hi-tech decoction device doesn't help, you should know how it is done, 2 ⭐ here. This has brought down my ratings from 5 to 4 stars otherwise they are really good.

I am really happy I and my friends made a decision of visiting "The Vintage" this weekend. There is no doubt about that this is one of the finest/elegant restaurant in Srinagar.

Suggestion/Free tips to management:

You definitely need to find a way to manage your service better, I experienced that not all the tables are serviced as soon as the customers have sat.

(Free idea) There is no need of digital menu, if it is not helping you other than saving paper, you can rather make an app, where a customer can directly add the choice of his food and as soon as he is done selecting, the order would directly instruct the kitchen on it. It will help you guys a lot in managing with less hassle and billing as well would become easy.

Ask for a feedback from your customers after you are done serving them, it would probably help you...

Stayed there for a night at starting of Kashmir trip and overall was a good experience.

Location: Situated at boulevard road,Dal gate facing Dal Lake,good location as per tourist point of view,many restaurants nearby.

Property: Newly constructed (or may be renovated) property,not a big one,have limited space but had managed well,have some parking space too,only missing was a lawn to sit and relax during a sunny day,rooftop space is there but still someplace at ground level makes difference.

Room: Room was good in size with nice,clean bathroom,good supply of hot water 24X7,good quality of toiletries were provided.

Staff: Found all staff courteous throughout our stay.

Food: Only had their complimentary breakfast at their restaurant and that need to be improved,the breakfast was below average comparing what price we are paying for stay,this needs to be improved by management.

Internet was problematic throughout our stay,may not be their fault (but of ISP) but as a customer I had to point it out.

We stayed at The Vintage Srinagar and it was the best decision. The view is great, rooms are well equipped and spacious, the food is mouthwatering, the restaurant is lit and the staff is courteous and friendly.

We chose their Waterfront restaurant for dinner initially because of cold and later because of EXCELLENT food, ambience, vibe, and out of the world hospitality of the serving staff at the restaurant.

Big shoutout and gratitude to Pankaj Bhat for his recommendations, politiness, going extra mile to delight the guests and taking care of the three senior citizens (my parents and aunt) with me on the trip. My parents, aunty, and I were totally overwhelmed with his super efficient and warm service. I would recommend dining and staying at the Vintage to experience his superlative service that becomes the highlight. Our group became his big fan and would wait for him to recommend us food. His recommendations were always on point.
