BlaBla Hostel — Hotel in Jodhpur

Absolutely amazing experience at Hostel Bla Bla in Jodhpur! We arrived around 3 AM, after a stressful situation with stray dogs on our way from another hostel. We were exhausted and scared, but the host, Piyush Bhai, welcomed us with open arms even though the dorms were full. His words, 'Koi dhikkat nahi❤️,' made us feel immediately at ease.

Piyush and Himanshu, both locals of Jodhpur, treated us like family. They went above and beyond to help us plan our visit, creating a personalized itinerary to explore the Blue City and famous local spots, including some of the best samosas in town. Their knowledge of the city and their genuine care for travelers made our stay unforgettable.

The main highlight of Hostel Bla Bla is how well-maintained and clean everything is. The hostel was spotless, with immaculate bathrooms and well-kept facilities. The location is perfect, near the incredible Mehrangarh Fort, and the terrace view was outstanding. The best sunset viewpoint in Jodhpur is definitely from Hostel Bla Bla’s terrace, with a cup of coffee in hand.

Our stay at Bla Bla Hostel Jodhpur was truly memorable! The hostel is located right in the city center, making it the perfect base to explore the Blue City. From the rooftop you get a stunning and clear view of the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, especially at sunset when the fort lights up beautifully – it’s one of the highlights of staying here.

The rooms and common areas are very clean, well-maintained, and designed with a cozy touch that makes you feel comfortable. The atmosphere is lively yet homely, perfect for both solo travelers and groups.

The best part of this hostel, however, is the hospitality of the owners, Himanshu and Piyush. They are incredibly friendly, approachable, and always ready to help – whether it’s giving tips about hidden spots in Jodhpur, arranging transport, or just sitting down for a good chat. Their personal care and warm nature make the experience feel more like staying with friends than at a hostel.

We stayed at Bla Bla Hostel in August and we selected it for its proximity to iconic tourist spots like the old Clock Tower and the Mehrangarh Fort. But I'd like to add the hostel and its locality itself in the list of things you must see in Jodhpur because it is a beautiful building that has been preserved and offers people a chance to live in the historical context of the city. The Hostel offers the best of the city with its narrow nearby lanes, plethora of temples and kachori-walas, blue houses, and scenic rooftop.

The Founder of the hostel is actively present and is a person passionate about travel and cinema, and iconic combo that made our stay in Jodhpur richer with his list of popular film shooting locations in Rajasthan. The Blue Corridor where the shooting of the Tamil film "I" took place is a mere 5 minute walk away from the Bla Bla Hostel.
