Checked this place on the recommendation from youtube videos. but totally disappointed. It is just over hyped and over priced. Ordered Kabuli and Malai roti. Both are sold on the basis of weight and both are Rs.1000/kg. Kabuli - First of all I didn't find any special taste of it, even I didn't find any taste on it. I don't know why it is so costly, even Veg or non veg Biryani's r not this much costly. It is mixture of rice, some spices, Gatta, 1 piece of paneer and 5-6 cashew and raisins. They claim that it is made in pure ghee but I don't think its made in pure ghee. Rs.1000/kg is totally waste of money when there is no taste. At this cost it not value for money at all. No taste and over priced. Malai Roti - It is just malai of boiled milk, layers of many malai's. as per taste its also not much tasty. One malai roti is around 160gm in weight, it will cost you Rs.160/roti. I didn't like the taste of this one. One spoon of pure malai is more than enough to eat at a time but 160gm malai is not likely to eat at a single time.
As per my point of view this place is just over hyped and over priced by youtubers. don't waste your hard earned money at this place. Veg or Non Veg Biryani is much much better to eat instead of Kabuli. Biryani has a unique taste and aroma but there is no taste and...

The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a traditional decor that instantly makes you feel at home. The menu is extensive, offering a variety of dishes that cater to different palates, whether you're a fan of spicy curries or prefer something milder.
The service at Vijay Restaurant is commendable. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations. Their genuine hospitality enhances the overall dining experience. One of the highlights is the freshness of the ingredients, evident in every dish, from the fragrant biryanis to the creamy paneer dishes.
While the prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, making it great value for money. The restaurant also accommodates dietary preferences, with ample vegetarian and vegan options available. However, it can get quite busy during peak hours, so reservations are recommended.
Overall, Vijay Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and authentic Indian meal in a cozy setting. It's a place where quality, service, and flavor come together to create a memorable...
Read moreNaam bade aur Darshan chhote! Heard a lot about this place and it's food varieties! I ordered Malai Roti ( It's good for sweet lovers but was over sweet in taste and nothing unique - One time try), Special Kabuli ( They call it Veg Biriyani - pathetic taste - Don't try ), Gulab Jamun Sabji ( Highly overrated item - but in reality it's yuk! Super oily, no taste, no feel of gulab jamun - Don't try) Daal Fry ( They serve Daal fry without rice 😄, it was ok in taste if you like it have it). Lahsun ki chutney - It was okay. Thank God they have the option to order the half plate as well! So if ever you want to try do not go for full, take half only.
Service and staff very bad! As soon as I entered, one by one they started asking for order. After the order the food service was quick, but they don't serve plate and bowl, you need to eat directly from served vessels, if you ask for the bowl then only they'll give, same for the spoon. These are basic things you have to provide. I found one small rat running under the table.
Overall experience was very bad! Went with lot of expectations but was highly...
