We had a very comfortable stay at castle view. The staff are very friendly and helpful with our requests during our stay. The interior decorations in traditional Rajasthani style with beautiful artwork, decorations will make you feel to stay just inside the cozy room for hours. The balcony in the room added an extra edge. The view from the rooftop restaurant towards Jodhpur Mehrangarh Fort and blue city is fantastic. Jodhpur has a lot of amazing options to stay, we picked castle view and we are extremely happy about that. We recommend if you can explore this beautiful Haveli, with lots of history, traditional interiors and amazing view on the rooftop. Hotel Manager Vipin Sharma and staff member Kishan were incredibly helpful and professional.

Kishan was thoughtful enough to meet us at the main road to guide us to the hotel.

Personalized Care and Transparency : I especially appreciated the owner's transparency in informing us about minor restoration work even before booking, and their thoughtful proactive offer to assign a lower-floor room, considering my senior citizen mother's comfort.

Breathtaking Views: The cafe area boasts mesmerizing panoramic views of Mehrangarh Fort and the blue city. Multiple seating levels offer the same wonderful vistas, perfect for relaxing, enjoying the evening chill.

This Haveli is definitely worth staying at when visiting Jodhpur.

Points for Consideration:

While rooms were generally clean, we noticed some dust accumulation in corners and on windows.

The cleanliness of the alleyway leading to the property could also be improved.

Stay is in the middle of blue city(Nawchowkiya). There is a pro as well as a con for same reason. Pro: Every location is very close to the stay-at a walkable distance. Excellent interior and balcony. Rooms are spacious and kept very neat. Balcony and rooftop cafe is very photogenic.

Con: Difficult to reach the place from Jodhpur town. Cab drivers and auto drivers, if we call from Airport area will not accept the ride. One way to reach the location is to hire an auto from Jalori Gate circle. We were informed by the owner that ₹100 is a reasonable rate for this distance(1.5km in map). On our way back, the staff in stay arranged an auto for us to Stepwell(₹100). Cleanliness: The cleanliness inside stay is exceptionally good. However, street infront of the stay is dirty and if you are someone who is little bothered about neatness, the road to stay may not be a good experience for you. But this will be the same if you chose to stay anywhere around this area.

The hospitality we received at stay is good. Attached Toilet/bathroom in room very neat.

The price of food at the rooftop cafe menu is a little higher, but we were not charged with the high price.

Also, in the rooftop cafe, the wash basin is inside toilet. We saw this in some other eateries in Jodhpur and Jaipur as well. I felt this as an inconvenience and we were washing our hands from our...
